HAWK

Anybody know?

I'm sure he'd be aware of it, what with the Zoic connection and the cameo of Serenity in the mini series; plus he seems to be an avid genre fan himself.

Anybody got any quotes?

No idea. I bought and watched the mini series last week and was fairly impressed. Season 1 arrived today - hopefully the quality is maintained :)

IMHO, it actually gets better in season 1.

As far as Joss', don't know, don't care. If he likes it, cool, but it doesn't effect my opinion of the show at all. Some don't like how dark it is, but I love it. It's the anti Trek, and that's incredibly refreshing after 18 years of "One Big Happy Fleet" Star Trek. The cast is great. Eddie Olmos is amazing as Adama, and I'm almost as in lust with Grace Park and Katie Sackoff, as I am with Morena and Jewel!

I just wish Sci-Fi would push parent company Universal to re-start Firefly, as it would be the perfect compainion show to BSG on friday nights. Stargate has been on forever and is getting as stale as Trek was. Sci-Fi fridays needs something new, and Firefly would be a perfect fit. I know there would have to be some deal with FOX to get another show going, but if both studios shared the expense and the profits, it might not be such an impossible thing to do.

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.
