Ok House isn't Sci-fi but I gotta mention how good this series is. For a start Hugh Laurie (Gregory House)is a UK actor famous for Black Adder and his performance is second to none. At the end of the day Hugh Lauire's performance makes the show. Fantastic show. Up there with Firefly and that can't be bad.

RELFEXIVE

It is damn good. He's won at least two awards for that role now, one a Golden Globe for best TV actor.

It's very good.

Excellant. Nice to meet a House fan. I only know 1 other person which is a guy in work. If you are a Brit you'll know Hugh Laurie from Black Adder and you know how good Hugh Laurie is as Gregory House because the stupid prince from Black Adder never crosses my mind when I watch him. If you are american you guys think he is an american actor. That shows how talented Hugh Laurie is as an actor. I love ER but House is so much better :)

House is the best!!! He pulls off an American accent brilliantly! Love House!! Now if they would bring Firefly back, I could be truly happy.

BLACKJACKRACKHAM

Hey, I Love House, he's such an @$$ in the good way. Not all Americans are unaware of Hugh being a Brit. He is brilliant, and deserves all the praise he's getting and more.

Arrrrr!

ummmm....Marillion

I love house. That and Monk are the only things i watch these days. Greg is almost as quotable as firefly

"The people who made the show, and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."

Yep. House is one of the greats.

My mom and stepdad got me to watch an epoisode when I visited them on vacation.

I watched another episode after I got home and then bought the season 1 DVD set. I've been recording season 2 eps ever since.

I have been a fan of Black Adder for many years and am very impressed with his accent in the show especialy because he does have a british accent when speaking off camera. EG: making of House mini-documentary on the DVD set. It's not as strong (to an american ear) as it used to be but is definately there.

House is #1 in Dr. shows.
Monk is #1 in detective shows.

I still pick Firefly as #1 overall...

I haven't tried House, but Hugh Laurie is awesome. He and Stephen Frie were hilarious in Jeeves and Wooster, this tv show based on Wodehouse's stories.

My sister is always trying to get me to watch it, but I didn't want to start halfway through the series. Luckily, I just saw USA is going to start showing it from the beginning on Friday nights.

Yay. I thought this was a dead thread from the go but you guys like House :D It's one of those shows that pulls in a ton of awards in America but us brits don't know about it. Except for me and a guy in work :D I like ER but House is so much better. When it shows a disease by zooming into the body with CGI is brillianat. Gregory House tells people, off the bat, the total and utter un-adulterated truth. He's not a bad person he's just being honest. Hugh Laurie is such a cool guy. I've seen him over here in the UK doing many interviews and he is so humble about his popularity in the USA. He honestly thinks he is not that good and feels lucky that he got that role.

I'm sorry Hugh but the show is called 'House' and you are 'Gregory House'. Without that fact the show wouln't pull in as many awards as it does. Me for 1 as a brit is very proud of his acheivements :D

PSOLARIS

Oh yeah...I absolutely LOVE this show...LOVE IT!!

And I just have to say, I have a slight crush on Hugh Laurie! I knew he was a Brit, but damn does he pull off the American accent. If'n I hadn't have known he was a Brit going into the show, I would have never guessed!!

I wish he was my doctor.

GUENEVER

Ooh, love House. I want to be like him when I grow up. Oh wait I am grown up. And I hate sick people and blood.

I hate most people too; so I guess I can be kind of like him. Anti-social. That's me. And not addicted to pain killers. Just beer. mmm... beer.
