Ever read a book, seen a film, a show, a music video, heard a song etc. and thought that they might tie in nicely with something else?

Here's a couple:-

The classic short story "Finis" by Frank Pollack (text: http://www.pulp-mag.net/pd/vI/POLLACKfinis.html)
- with -
The song "Sonne" by Rammstein (translation: http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics/mutter#sonne)

The novel "Eater" by Gregory Benford
- with -
The video for "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden (not the wussy version with the scary bits removed.

CYBERSNARK

Ooh, a "potential fanvid" thread:

Waspinator (from Transformers: Beast Wars) to "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba
(He gets blown up in every freakin' episode, but he's always alright.)

Sesshoumaru & Rin, to "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins

InuYasha, to "No Way Out" by Phil Collins

Voyager's Doctor to the Dr. Who theme
(Literally; Doctor "who?" --the fact that he travels through space and time just adds to the parallels.)

Voyager's Doctor and House
(You want sarcasm. . .)

Horror movies to classic rock
(I blame Supernatural for this.)

Peter Petrelli (from Heroes) to "The Rescue" by American Hi-Fi
I wish I could fly,
I know I could save us somehow.
You thought you were safe and sound,
But you need a hero now.
You gotta believe,
Even with broken wings,
I'll come to your rescue
And you can rescue me.

We applied the cortical electrodes but were unable to get a neural reaction from either patient.
