A Bit Confused On Sarah Connor Chronicles..........

Are events going to be taking place PRIOR to Terminator 2...while John was still in school living with his foster parents....or AFTER Terminator 2?

Either way...both make no sense to me.

Prior : Sure wasn't anybody around to "protect" him until Arnold came back to defend against Robert Patrick. He had been raised in Mexico and living with Sarah. She brought him back to the states so she could infiltrate Skynet..and then got arrested.

After : He left school in 9th grade after his foster parents are killed and he is reunited with Sarah....he lived "off the grid" until he was 21 and then only found out that J-day was inevidable, and learned of the relationship of Kate Brewster and her dad. ...no one could find him before that....as far as established timelines...John Connor NEVER was in High School.

Soooo..when exactly is this TV series supposed to take place? The writers and producers are milking this thing dry, and if they're gonna keep changing established plotlines & timelines...what's the point of any contined emotional or intellectual investments on our part?

I'm taking a chance too.

Summer is in it. Nuff said.

Chris may be all. But Summer is ALL.

As to an original point: Events are taking place AFTER T2. Seems they are using this 'off the grid' time. I don't know the timeline that well but does it actually state anywhere that he DIDN'T attend school in this period or is it just speculation. Off the grid to me means that govt, officials, and authorities don't know who they are or where they are. I'm assuming that he and Sarah would change their names each time they move on, effectively becoming more hidden with each move, maybe. If I read correctly somewhere, Sarah has the last name of Reese at the start of the TV show.

Frankly I think they should have stopped after T2, but this is Hollywood we're talking about.

Doesn't sound interesting to me, Summer or no, but we'll see.
