Anyone else see this over the weekend? An entire show consisting of Star Wars spoofs. Each sketch was hysterical, even the intro with the mad scientist as the Emperor and the chicken as Vader was funny as hell. My favorites:

1. Boba Fett taunting carbonite bound Han Solo. Interesting twist towards the end.

2. AT-AT trooper on the can as Luke lobs grenade up through the hatch. "What the @*#!"

3. Vader calls the Emperor to tell him about the first death star being destroyed.

That last one is perhaps my favorite sketch ever on this show. Even though I had seen it previously it made me laugh uncontrolably.

Yeah I saw this (later than planned tho').

It was brilliant. So many digs. The intro was just genius.

The Ponda Baba story was great and very funny.
I still find the Bush with Jedi powers sketch hilarious.

I only got into the show recently coz I'd heard about Vaders phone call to the Emperor sketch and decided to check it out. Have not regretted it.

I had a link, but they moved the vid.

I'll hunt about and see what I can come up with, Penguin.

It's brilliant. My favorite skit is "ascended" JarJar visits Darth Vader... again... and again...

"Ani!! Ani!!"

LMAO!

It's both on TV and the web. They show the episode originally on Cartoon Network in the US and Bravo in the UK then put a streaming version out on the net.

Due to the lack of decent programming here in the states, Adult Swim represents some of the finest entertainment on TV nowadays.

"What the hell is an aluminum falcon!?!"

Possibly two of the funniest lines I've heard, ever.

As a matter of fact.... the first might just have to find its way into my sig.

REGINAROADIE

Of the newer STAR WARS sketches, the ones I liked was the "Death Star orientation" sketch (this is probably the most chipper performance Malcolm McDowall has ever done), Luke telling R2 to patch him through to Uncle Own and Aunt Beru and then realizing they're dead, and the George Lucas sketch and the "Oh God" sigh he gives in the elevator. I imagine after 30 years, he's been getting these kind of reactions from fans that are either overly positive, or baying for his blood.

And the Han sketch going on longer than it should have was funny, as well as seeing the payoff to the "independent contractors" hypothesis of Randal's from CLERKS with the Emperor and construction workers sketch.

I dunno. I guess I liked them all.
