Call me a geek if you will, but I found it interesting that in the pilot episode of BSG, about 13 minutes into the show, there is a scene where the soon to be President is sitting with a doctor in a huge room with a see through glass ceiling. When tha camera pans from the ceiling down to the doctor's desk as he is sitting down. 3 or 4 ships fly by, and the 3rd or 4th looked familiar, so I froze and zoomed, what in the?! It's a firefly for sure. Have you guys already seen that?

If you're not on Malbadinlatin's side, you're with the terrorists.

There's also a Firefly in a Star Wars comic as well.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Firefly-class_transport

RMD has stated he is a big admirer of Firefly, and that led him to include the Firefly transport above Caprica.

Just saying.

And what makes you think I use deodorant?

Tut, tut, Finn. Not everyone is as blessed to have watched the show first run on tv.

And we don't (generally) use the "N" word on this site. If you want to call the new Coatlets the "N" word, make sure you stay in RWE.

Malbadinlatin, ignore him. He's old and crotchety.

It is true. Those were long gone glorious days of yesteryear. Rushing home after work to pack together on the coach to witness the latest exploits of the intrepid crew of the starship Serenity, short lived though it was.

Finn, you made me snort in a most unladylike fashion. Cut it out.

And I know you are old. You aren't fooling anyone, you know.

I feel guilty, ya know...I'm probably older than you Finn. For example...I saw the first run Star Trek episodes in 1968, I was only 4, but my Mom told me I was glued to the set

Well they are the same company who did the effects for Firefly, so no surprise, but yes this has been brought up before. But glad you spotted it.

BTW original poster, I'm glad you posted this: Fun abounds, and I actually watched the pilot before realizing: HOLY CRAP, I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS THE EPISODE THEY MEANT!

May not be smart, and it may not please you, but you're definitely gonna see what I have to say.
Put this in your sig if you had a favorite show that may have been named Firefly and was canceled by FOX.

Important people don't do field work.

Come on now. I would think that the fans on this site are better than that. I understand (believe me) the frustration with new fans bringing up things that have been discussed as nauseum. But, at one time, you were new fans too. The more new flans we get, the better it is for all of us, so there's no need in trying to scare them off.

We're just happy that you're here. Most of us are, anyways. Spread the word!

(For the record, I haven't seen Early's ship in Trash...no matter how many times and where I look, I haven't seen it.)

Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

When Saffron goes and looks out the parlor window and you see the ocean, Early's ship zips across the screen from right to left. If you freeze the frame there you should see it. My DVD says it's 22:46 in

And I had heard about Serenity popping up in BSG and watched very closely when my friend showed me the miniseries/pilot. We rewound the scene at least three times just to see our girl

Um, you'll have to be more specific, cuz I just ran their conversation, and the only time he tells her there's something he wants her to do is when he says "help me find our man" and there's no one in the background of that shot except one gal in a blue dress.
Anyone have a timestamp? Or this picture?

Hmmmm...Did you mean long-lost twin brother...

As far as spaceships making cameos in other shows, I remember reading somewhere that a reaverized Battlestar is in Serenity. Has that ever been comfirmed? I never could spot it.
