Okay, I'm getting a bit cheesed off!

We all know that Fox pulled the carpet out from under Drive, a show featuring one of our BDH. But they also deep-sixed another show starring a BDH, Standoff. And, quite frankly, I think Standoff is the better show, especially after the last half season. And yet, all the attention is given to Drive and Nathan. Where's the love for Gina?! Aren't people upset that Fox killed her show- a really great show with a lot of potential?!

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

Finally, someone I can agree with. No offense to Tim or Nathan, but Drive... didn't work for me. I think the script killed it for me, because no matter how good some of the actors in that show were, I just wasn't feeling it.

Standoff, on the other hand, reminded me of House, in that the formulaic aspect of the show still managed to deliver something different and interesting each episode. Gina played both a good leader and a gorgeous woman; and I liked the movie Office Space, even if I didn't understand some of the jokes, so Ron was good. Well, really, the whole cast was good, even for the smaller roles.

I think maybe the push for Drive is because Nathan looks like he's on his way to big name fame, and that would help our cause. That, and they showed more commercials for Drive on Fox, at least as far as I can remember. Plus, it's got Tim Minear, and it was canceled after just four episodes...

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. ::shrugs::
