Hey all... Just thought this would be a fun addition to all of the online RPG'ing we have going... the idea is based off of the S.M. Stirling "Change" trilogy... You don't have to read the books to join in, just have an ok idea behind medevil combat/life... The basic idea of the trilogy is that all electronics and most modern weaponry was, for all intents and purposes, destroyed... so: No guns, No Cars, No Planes, No gas powered engines... etc. etc. ... Also, the world has pretty much disolved back down to the dark ages... Now, if anyone is interested, go ahead and look this up, I'm gunna be at school for most of the day, but I'll try and be back later tonight, please post your character bios if your interested in playing. I will be starting this off during "The Dying Times," better known as the days immediately following "The Change," You can do whatever you want, be a bandit, an eater (cannibal), part of Clan Mackenzie or the Bearkillers... or just wanders... OR we could make our own clan/warband and do whatever... feel free to play around and have fun! See ya all later, and I hope for some responses by the time I'm back, but if not... meh, whatever.

Character Bio: I'd like to see your characters Name, Age, physical description, job BEFORE the change (doctor, nurse, gardener, whatever), any skills they may have (blacksmithing, leatherworking, cooking, horseback riding, weapon training, etc.), and basic gear (knives, swords, spears, bows, etc.) Try and make it realistic... not many people would know how to work leather, or be a good blacksmith before the change... less still would know how to use a sword very well... and you probably wouldn't have a sword just laying around your house, unless you were a collector... and even then it would probably be a "show" sword, too brittle to use... As soon as I get a few people interested (ok, even just ONE) we'll start up the gameing... I'll try and keep it entertaining...

MOBBEX

Name: Cole

Age: 26

Physical description: Rather short, 5'8", but fairly compact at 183 lbs. Not what you would call muscular, but still in good shape. He boasts a tan complexion and native american features, as well a short, thick black hair. He wears mostly sporting gear, practical and formfitting.

Job: Bike courier

Skill: Aside from his extensive stamina and overall fitness, he really has little to bargain with. He can't cook, he can't ride a horse, he's of little use with a bow and barely knows which end of a sword to hold. Still, his physical prowess makes him deadly with a club, and he can take a scuffle.

Basic gear: Sturdy steel-caped boots and a sizable wooden club.

Bio: Not much to tell. He was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, but took a prolonged road trip in his early 20's. He has always been rather quick-tempered and self-absorbed. This, along with his lack of interest for abstract matters, led him to drop out of school at a fairly young age. He worked a few quick jobs over the years, and eventually garnered enough money to embark on a plane to Asia. He did some lengthy sight-seeing over there, most notably in Thailand where he stopped for a full year, before he got homesick and headed back. Once in Portland again, he landed a part time job at a local shipping agency. He barely had time to settle back in before the Change happened.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. Writing something oustide of the Firefly/Serenity 'verse is a bit of a struggle for me. I don't know how this is gonna turn out.

OOC: More folks would be nice. NPC's are... kinda like mayonnaise. Sure, it's handy and all, but abuse it and... Plus, NPC's too tend to go bad when left too long in the sun.

Oh, and for what it's worth: good luck with your math test!
