Ok, Phased and Confused was tonight's episode. It had to do w/ changing the speed of molecules in a human's body.

Which got me thinking......

Wasn't the very first episode of the series about a scientist who did just that....went out of phase , and later kept popping up as a ghostly figure?

And then Nathan Stark was trapped , in time.... or was he ? We don't know for certain whether he died, or simply got frozen in a moment and then the rest of the universe around him went on.... he could still be 'alive', just stuck out of phase.....

Hmmm.

Good point. Nathan's character is way too good to not comeback again.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Ed Quinn has said in several interviews that Nathan Stark will not be returning. Doesn't mean the producers won't try to write that type of scenario into the show at some point in the future.

Which is strange because I remember reading something about Stark returning. That not everyone dies in Eureka...especially if they phased.

Does this mean we will be able to watch the spin off show Eureka Leap?

What I find particularly sad about his untimely demise, is that it's a pretty lame way for our Sheriff to 'win out' with regard to getting the woman. He lost. Period. Seemed like he stood a decent chance at first, but Nathan pulled his Nobel-prize winning ass together, and won his ex-wife back. And just as they're about to get re-married... wham! freaky time-shift accident, and Carter gets the girl after all (or, at least, no longer has competetion that can best him). Pretty lame solution, IMHO.

I really miss Stark. The show is not the same without him. As for what will happen in the future. Hard to say. The Sci Fi Channel is unpredictable.

May have been on the losing side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I also seem to recall the Katee Sackoff said that Starbuck wouldn't return to BSG...

I miss Stark also, he was pretty much my favorite character.

It is hard to say! I assume the show was interrupted by the writer's strike. Is it coming back?

It is supposed to return on Friday, July 10, but that is just from a blog by one of the writers. There has been no official announcement from Sci-Fi yet.

RIPWASH

This is another great show! It's about the only thing on Sci-Fi that's sci-fi anymore :o) My wife even commented on why Sci-Fi didn't pick up Firefly.

Great characters and writing. Sheriff Carter and Stark were perfect foils for each other. I was a little upset to see him go, but then again, I wasn't a big fan of the character. He was a little too wooden for me. I liked the first Head of GD - Warren King played by Greg Germann and was disappointed when he wasn't a regular.

It was an awesome mid-season cliffhanger. I think "Season 3" is what they're still calling the July return of the show. But at this point, why not just start Season 4?

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"
