Well, this new movie, District 9, is based on a 6-minute short film from 2005 called Alive In Joberg, by Neill Blomkamp...

I love the realistic "documentary" feel of it: The actors just don't seem like they're acting! (Also love the hauntingly beautiful music.)

As a side note; Peter Jackson is a Producer on this movie, so its success or failure may directly impact whether or not he gets to do the Halo movie.

IOW, Master Chief wants you to see this movie.

(As do the Red and Blue Teams, probably.)
