Operative: "Its worse than you know..." Mal: "It usually is."

Your right, it does look good! It takes me back to the 60's when I had my Enterprise(which I put together myself, no small feat) hanging from my bedroom ceiling, those were the days!
(my Mr Spock poster was on the back of my bedroom door.)
Ah, logic:)

Nice.

Kirk-era; recognizable by the lack of spikes on the nacelle tips (and a lower bridge dome which wouldn't be visible from this angle).

It's a beauty! I had somethin' similar about 25 years ago with my boys. You and your son working together on it is a most shiny example of excellent parenting by passing down cherished traditions. I'm getting a little misty-eyed now.

They had the option to make it from the pilot, or the "Mirror, Mirror" one, or even the Constellation (not destroyed though, you'd have to do that yourself like in the episode- with a Bic lighter).

Ya know, I think it's all kinds of awesome that you capitalize it when you talk about your Son. That says an awful lot about you and how you feel about him. Just thought I should mention that.

Boy, you did a hell of a better job than I ever did when I tried to build that kit! I could never get the nacelles parallel, and they always drooped.
Excellent job on the paint and decals, too!
