DeepDiscount.com is taking pre-orders for Farscape: The Complete Series on DVD. $74.98 for the whole series (I'm guessing this DOESN'T include "The Peacekeeper Wars").

I'm debating ordering it. I liked what I saw of the show, but didn't get to see much, THEN saw some of the PK wars, and really didn't like those, so I worry that it may have ruined the show for me.

There was something cheesy about the show, but there was lots to like about it, too. And $75 for the entire series is a pretty sweet deal.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

The original press release for it didn't say anything about The Peacekeeper Wars being part of the package, but a later announcement said that it will. I'm not sure if that includes the one DD is taking pre-orders for, or if there will be two separate sets, one with PK and the other without.

It's really good sci-fi, and you're right there is lots to like about it.
$75 is a steal for the complete series. Thanks for the heads up.

Holy crap! Nice find! Here I was about to drop $105 on this over at Amazon. Thanks for the heads up. For anyone on the fence this should be a no brainer. $75 for 4 seasons of an outstanding show.

Glad to help. Hope some of y'all pick it up and love it. I'm going to pick it up at some point, but money's a bit tight right now (holidays coming up, etc.).

Don't wait too long, since that price at DeepDiscount is only good thru November 29.

It's just 57.99USD on Amazon.com now...
Annoying, considering that I pre-ordered it and, thus, paid more than 100USD...

Y'know, I *start* to feel bad when I see things like 2 seasons of Buffy in one package at Target, for $18.99, and think back to when I paid $42 each for some of the single seasons... Then I remember how much enjoyment I've gotten from them, and I don't feel bad at all. I've watched them all AT LEAST 4 times, I've shared them with friends who have then turned around and bought their own season sets, and so on, so I figure I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of them.

I *didn't* order the Farscape set. Yet. I'm running out of reasons not to at these prices, though.

Well, as long as everything w/ my order is ok (haven't received it yet...had to have someone bring it in from the US), I don't think I'll mind the 'loss' of that 40 or so USD...much.

I've already watched this series at least twice, and I'm actually a bit anxious to get my copy of the complete series + PKW already.

edit: finally got my copy! Heh, I'm pretty happy w/ it. I could ALMOST say I don't care about the 40+ USD difference.
Time to go on a marathon... (maybe after work later...)
