Confirmed "Bonus Guest" - Sally Kellerman starred as the infamous Hot Lips Houlihan in Robert Altman’s M*A*S*H, one of the most popular feature films of all time for which she was nominated for both an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. She had a memorable role as Dr. Elizabeth Dehner in the second filmed pilot episode of Star Trek, entitled "Where No Man Has Gone Before", opposite Gary Lockwood and William Shatner. More recently, she has been in Back to School, American Virgin, Boynton Beach Club and, making a somewhat quirky appearance as herself, leading a cult in The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. Kellerman has as a cameo in Amy Heckerling's I Could Never Be Your Woman and teamed up with her husband, Jonathan D. Krane, plus Dedee Pfeiffer and Dylan and Cole Sprouse in A Modern Twain Story: The Prince and the Pauper. “Sally", the new album from Sally Kellerman was released on February 10, 2009. One of the most recognizable voices in the world of film, television and voice-over, Sally maintains her signature sound in the recording studio and the result is a richly layered album, mixing jazzy blues and adult standards with a touch of soulful rock. See below for details on a special Friday evening event "Sally - An evening with Sally Kellerman", where she will perform tracks from her latest CD. - Appearing Saturday and Sunday for autographs and photos.

Confirmed "Bonus Guest" - Gary Lockwood is best known for his role as astronaut Dr. Frank Poole in 2001: A Space Odyssey. A former stunt performer, Lockwood's first film work was as stand-in for Anthony Perkins, with whom he appeared on camera in 1960's Tall Story. Before his unfortunate space ride in 2001, Lockwood starred on the network TV series Follow the Sun (1961) and The Lieutenant (1963); shortly afterwards, Lockwood starred in another NBC television series called The Kraft Mystery Theater, also known as Crisis, in an episode titled "Connery's Hands". He was cast opposite Sally Kellerman, with whom he would again appear in a Star Trek episode called "Where No Man Has Gone Before" as Helmsman Gary Mitchell, and Kellerman as the ship's psychiatrist Dr. Elizabeth Dehner, who both develop super powers after being jolted and knocked unconscious by an unknown electrical force. - Appearing Saturday and Sunday for autographs and photos.

Very exciting that they'll both be at Vulcan Events in Tampa 4/30 - 5/2. Other guests include Gary Graham, Catherine Hicks, and Dean Stockwell among others. I've been going to cons for about 15 years, and none of these folks has ever been there. I feel this is a rare opportunity to meet some real sci-fi legends, especially Sally Kellerman ( 2 Outer Limits classic eps) & Gary Lockwood of 2001 A Space Odyssey. Also can't wait to discuss Blue Velvet with Dean Stockwell among other topics. And Catherine Hicks too!

Other than you, this thread didn't generate any interest. I'm not so surprised at that, considering I'm an old fart, and today's youth may not care much about the past. For me though, the sci-fi past is my personal 'verse. Thanks for responding Out2, and I will report back here on how the show was.

Will look forward to it...

I'm older than I care to admit .

Fortunately , living well is the best revenge , and I take good care of myself...

Many folk tell me that I look about half as old as I am , and that is a pony that I must ride while I can , because methinks it won't be for much longer now...

I always thought that the Kellerman character looked familiar in that ep , but couldn't quite place her...Seeing this was a Duh-Oh! moment for me...

I'd be interested in going to more cons like this except for the slight problem that I don't live in that area, or state, or country or even the same continent.

Let us know if you meet Dean Stockwell, I've always been a fan of his.
