CHRISISALL

OH. MY. BUDDHA.

Sonisall is NUTZ!!!! All of a sudden, he's onto BTTF like Blue Sun on profits! We've seen the entire trilogy back to back two times in a week, and the first one AGAIN!!
He made me break out my Sun Star diecast to examine it:

He built the model I bought in 1990 but never made:

And now he's working on transforming the tiny Hot Wheels Delorean into a Doc Brown vehicle!!!:

I don't DARE remind him that somewhere in my vault I have a radio controlled one!!! At least, I *think* I do...

*help*

The melting brain of Chrisisall

Love BTTF. Despite being fictional, Doc Brown was my inspiration back in high school and college, along with the Ghostbusters.

Help? Why would you need help? Rejoice in the good taste of your son and enjoy the enthusiasm.

Yeah, he's makin' me revisit it all over again! Even had to make alterations on my $50 diecast to make it more accurate!

AND- he actually MADE the little Hot Wheels Delorean into the BTTF car!!!! All by hisself!
Pictures tomorrow!!!

Just found out that my adult niece, she's 27, fav car was the BTTF DeLorean. Ah, it brings back memories.

My son, who's 27 also, is in love with Ecto-1, the Ghostbusters car. As a matter of fact, last Halloween he dressed up as a Ghostbuster with the overall suit, webbed belt, boots but, unfortunately, not the Proton pack (he couldn't get his hands on one).

Anywho, thanks for posting Chris. Sonisall has some talent, thats a great model he congered up.

Very very shiny indeedy.

A crap car made really cool because of the movies.
Lookng forward to the HD versions of the trilogy at the end of October.

Just to clarify that I meant that comment as a compliment to the prop guys in the films. I just re-read it and thought it could be mis-read. It IS a great looking car and just shows what can be done for something that should be consigned to the scrap heap.

If it's time travel he's into, why not spring this on him?

That's not a time machine.

This is a time machine.

If I was in another city, I'd how off my no-longer-made BttF micromachine cars. Did Sonisall ever get a chance to go on the BttF ride at Universal Studios, or was that before his time?

Wifeisall & I were there, but that was before Sonisall's time. That ride was amazing. Almost as good as the Terminator one.

I stand corrected.

Although the insides might be a bit tricky to get just so, in model form.

I don't know if you heard Chris but they're re-releasing the original movie at the cinema to promote the Blu-ray release - a must see for me.

I went on the BttF ride but unfortunately there was a very, very large lady on the ride with us. The safety bar came down and rested on her stomach, leaving a clear foot gap for the two of us on either side of her. I enjoyed the ride but would have appreciated it not giving me a concussion.
