Expired, forgotten, spoiled rotten.

Oh, would you two go crash a shuttle craft on a planet with giant cave man if you're going to have that old argument! The rest of us want to party like its Captain Picard Day.

I pray for one last landing,
on the globe that gave me birth.
Let me rest my eyes on the fleecy skies
and the cool, green hills of Earth.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I celebrated by watching "The Man Trap" this evening.

TRAVELER

The reason I remember it is because we just moved to Milwaukee and our TV suffered some damage and all I could do was listen to the show while looking at a black screen.

Didja get it fixed eventually? I'd hate to think you listened to the whole series like that...

Although, I remember listening to kid's movies on record, like Robin Hood and Sleeping Beauty and sometimes I will put the movie in and just listen to them while I clean the house. It's a nice thing

Oh yes. Back in the good old days you took the vacuum tubes and went to an electronics store and tested them until you found the one that didn't work and the buy a new one for a couple of bucks and you were back in business. Parents didn't care so much about Star Trek as they did Gunsmoke. Had to get the TV up and running for that.

Well, at least that makes sense to me. Something gets broke ona flat screen...it's cheaper and less trouble ta just buy a new one...Where's THAT make sense?

Soon, they'll make it impossible to fix cars, too...Already are- for a lot of old timers...

I was 13 and in 7th grade when the first show aired. I remember not liking it, so I never watched again. After all, there was already Batman, The Monkees, Lost In Space, and a zillion other great shows at that time. It took a few years of reruns in the 1970's for me to get hooked on Trek.

I was six and hated it because my parents loved it but it overlapped with "The Wild Wild West", which I loved, and being six, I was overruled on the TV set.

By the time I was 12, I'd completely changed my mind and went to my first ST convention in NYC. The registration line was long (some things never change at cons) and the person next to me was green. And Nichele Nichols shook my hand. :)
