Does anyone know when/if they are going to be releasing Space Above and Beyond on DVD? I know the Fox Home Entertainment guy said they were seriously considering it for release.

I really hope that they release it on DVD because I've only ever been able to watch it with crappy reception and would love to actually be able to see what's going on.

Only sure news so far is Millennium, released date of July 20, according to www.tvshowsondvd.com. If that's successful, Fox Home Ent will possibly release Harsh Realm. I believe S: AaB's appearance will depend on the success of the other titles.

I've been wondering when thats gonna happen too, I had a few episodes on video but they're busted! You can get VCD copies online which I have seen advertised on fan sites but have no idea what kinda quality they are. I think there is an online petition to Fox to get them released too but as yet nothing official that Ive heard.

I have downloaded the entire series of S.A.A.B and some are of OK quality, some not so much. I eagerly await the DVD release too.

Okay here's the problem I have, I really dug Space: Above and Beyond and was very disappointed when it went away, but I really don't have any interest whatsoever on getting/seeing those other two.

What genius is basing the decision to release a series on DVD based on sales of completely unrelated series in different genres? Oh I know, the same geniuses who cancelled Firefly, so I retract that question.

But it surely seems to make no flippin' sense whatsoever not just from a logic standpoint but from a business one. What's next, basing whether or not the new Battlestar Galactica series will be released on DVD based on how well sales of Mad, Mad House DVD sets or whatever that drek is called are?

People make me want to smack things sometimes...

Actually I'm pretty sure the "geniuses" deciding when to release S:AAB work for Fox's home video section rather than the network that cancelled Firefly. As for why they decided to do that I got nothing.
