Well, personally my views were:-

During most of the episode - not too bad (though they seemed to be aiming at the action end of the market)

Then the last few moments - not so much oh boy as oh good grief, did you have to?

I have to say, I do watch Enterprise and indeed all the Treks regularly (I prefer Firefly, but I've only missed about one episode of any of the Treks)but the last couple of minutes I just thought were chronic

Next season will end with them crashing into the World Trade Center.

Alien Nazis? Is it a time shift? If so whywhywhywhywhywhy? They have a great timeperiod with a myriad of stories to tell. Whats the point of doing a prequel series if they keep spending all their time in other times? I would love to have seen the war with the Romulans leading to the birth of the Federation, but no we get time traveling aliens we've never heard of, multi dimensional invaders, and a series that has no direction.

However the alien Nazis and P-51s did raise interesting questions. How can the racial purity of the Nazis tolerate an alien in their midst? Will Enterprise encounter Troy and Dillon from Galactica 1980 only to loose them again when Dr. Who shows up pursued by renegade bandits from the 25th Century who are in turn defeated by the fortuitous arrival of Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon? I can answer those questions. Hold on, I'll ask my future self who just walked in the door. But what if I choose never to go back in time to answer my own questions? AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! HEad exploding. Must turn off TV. Get excercise. Fresh air. Sunlight........

Bloody hell ghoulman! Do you ever shut up about Enterprise? If you dislike the show as much as you constantly say why do you even bother watching it in the first place?

Looking forward to next season. I expect the cliffhanger will be tied up in the first few episodes, not the whole season.

I think its a tie up of the Zindi Reptilian and biological weapon sub plot from season 3.

It's true what Braga and Berman say; Star Trek fanboys will watch anything.

The Quantom Leap ending is, I can only devine, yet another 'flip off' to the Trek fans of the past. It's happened before. As Enterprise went from season to season, the number of blatant mistakes can't just be from a complete lack of story telling talent or even High School level writing. I'd bet a Ferrengi the world that Braga does these things just to laugh at viewers who just don't get it. In my humble opinion ... if I'm allowed to have an opinion (seems many people think I shouldn't).

Okay, I missed the finale. Alien Nazis???

But I think you're wrong in blaming Braga. Everything I've heard and read has indicated that it's primarily and almost solely Rick Berman who deliberately tries to piss off long-standing Trekkers. He has openly said that continuity means nothing to him, and expressed a desire to do something that explicitly violates the continuity of the Trek universe (like, I dunno, kill Sarek on Enterprise?). He's also been one of the ones behind the push to make Star Trek more accessible to non-fans. This is, in my opinion, a losing proposition; non-fans mostly won't watch it because it's Star Trek, and fans get disgusted by the constant attempts to appeal to non-fans.

That said, I've enjoyed a lot of Enterprise, even if Travis Mayweather has been less developed in 3 seasons than the least developed character on Firefly (Shepherd Book, says I) was in 13 episodes.

Anyway, take home point: Consider Rick Berman as the target of your ire. He's slowly becoming the target of mine.

Or, hate FOX because without their idiocy there'd still be a better sci-fi show on the air...

Oh yea, Rick Berman may indeed be the culprit. But I detect the smell of Braga. I've had reports they are both one creature known as the Bergaman! Or the BBs. Or just B&B.

How could the racial purity of the Nazis tolerate Hitler, who, lest we forget, was short, dark-haired, and quite mad. I would suggest (diplomacy and PCness aside) that the Nazis weren't known for their critical thinking skills.

The Reman-wannabe probably just told them he's French (how's that for a long-established Trek running joke?).

My feelings toward Enterprise are reasonably well-known, so I'm gonna not get into this flamewar. Instead, I'll just make a history joke.

FIREFLYGAL

Enterprise was no match for Firefly, unfortunately since Fox is stupid, I continued to watch Enterprise, not so much because I was truly interested, but just to have a new dose of Sci-Fi each week. I admit I was curious to watch Archer's character progress into obsession over saving the Earth (ok, which is not a bad thing). The last episode was fun with the space battle and all and I may have even wanted to watch next season, right up until the last scene when we have yet another time travel bunch of go-se. I will not be watching next season (I don't care how cute Conner Trinner is) and I pray UPN puts Enterprise out of it's misery. I honestly thought the Andorians had beamed Archer aboard at the last minute and we'd go on believing he was dead till next season, that, I could have bought into. Enterprise does not deserve the loyalty of Trek fans since Enterprise has become a travesty of anything Trek.

Okay, could somebody please spoil the living hell out of the Enterprise finale? I suppose I could catch it before the premiere, but I'll probably forget.

Meanwhile, I read that they will wrap up this story line in the first few episodes, then return to single episodes and two- or three-episode arcs, which is actually a direction I've wanted to see for a while.

I also read that they'll wrap up the temporal cold war storyline early this season... which seems crazy to me, given that it's sorta been the underlying arc for the entire freakin' show.

I do love Star Trek, but something... something's not right just now. Maybe this new movie idea will solve it (they're saying no pre-established characters and set even before Enterprise), maybe the new series pitched by Straczynski... and maybe it's time for Star Trek to sleep in its coccoon for another decade and reemerge when it can be fresh again.

Once again, somebody please spoil the Enterprise finale for me.

Warning: Absolute spoilers for the enterprise season finale, do not read if you don't want a substantial portion of season 3 ruined.

Select to view spoiler:

Dunno if you've watched the season, anyway. The entire season there was the buildup to the Xinda planning to destroy earth, at the end they manage to launch the weapon and get it near earth, readying to fire. Captain Archer and a few others get on board at the end and suceed in stopping it(Yay, earth is saved!), Archer being the last one on after the others get beamed off. He is running to the beamout site when the thing explodes, leaving his survival in question. The enterprise then returns to earth and is unable to make contact with starfleet(or anyone). So they send a shuttle down the planet(San Fransisco) where it is promtply attacked by WW2 fighter planes. Then, in the middle of a Mash unit, you see Captain Archer surrounded by a bunch of Nazi's. Out of the shadows, steps a creepy alien in a Nazi Uniform.

DUN DUN DUN. DEMON NAZIS!

If Braga thinks that Trekkies/Trekkers will watch anything Star Trek, he's very wrong. I loved the OS and NG but I barely watch Enterprise and I certainly don't look forward to it when I do watch.

This season I think I watched four episodes. The entire Xindi plot line doesn't interest me. I hope that they get off of it soon.

I would be interested in watching how the social and political situation that exists in the OS and NG are set up. For example, the relationships between humans and Vulcans as individuals and species. Even though I know we get the above mentioned themes throughout the episodes. I'd like to see more episodes focused on it. Maybe the crew can visit Vulcan. It would be interesting to see what T'Pol's family thinks of the crew and their daughter for working with them. It would also be interesting to see what the crew thinks of T'Pol's family and Vulcan once they visit it.

Also, I'd like to see how the Romulan War is set up.

Look, Ghoulman. I'm not jumping on you for bumping this thread (which I am well aware you didn't do), just for the fact that you can't seem to let people enjoy what they chose without putting them down for not sharing your opinion. I personally am impartial about Enterprise, but you don't need to be slamming those who enjoy the show. That's just like someone insulting you for liking Firefly.

Just chill out, dude. You're cool otherwise.

The only thing I'm interested in Enterprise is how the Vulcans went from what they are in that show to the intellectual puppets of the Federation (or something like that, I don’t remember the exact quote.)

From what I've learned there's supposed to be some kind of Vulcan Civil War that takes place during the Fourth Season that's supposed to give way to the gentler, peace-loving Vulcans that we've all come to love. Also, Brent Spiner is supposed to make a guest appearance in a 2-3 episode story arc during the initial run of episodes.

Also, the temporal cold war is going to get wrapped up beginning with the conclusion to season three's cliffhanger.
