Seems like reactions are in, the shills, the plants, the some of the so called 'sci critics' like it

Casual fans don't really like it

Hardcore trekkies are offended by its continuity

the writers, producers, directors and makers go online to troll and post comments which may have compared the new Klingons to moslems or Trump voters?

like watching a slow train wreck?

Terrible?

The show doesn’t go where no man has gone before, but it’s still good to be back inside the ship. Let’s just pray this new team gives it all they’ve got.

Discovery premiere feels like a failure to me, albeit an entertaining and occasionally epic and ambitious failure. There's room for pilots that don't immediately set out a template for the ongoing series, but I don't know that, with everything riding on it, this was the time for a "prequel" or "overture" pilot, one that doesn't introduce the show's title space vessel, most of its main characters or its core conflict other than "Klingons bad, everybody else good."

Don’t like the Klingons appearance and their speech is painful to listen to. I enjoyed the space battles.

So do I have to subscribe to CBS's shitty subscription service to see if this is worth a damn?

guess for me I am a big Star Trek fan but honestly I have no desire to pay extra money to purchase another TV channel. CBS has lost a fan, I refuse to pay them to see it. I

And why the heck is it called Discovery when it's clearly all about war?!

I didn't actively dislike it, but ... eh. I certainly wasn't impressed enough to shell out for CBS all access (which is the only way to watch the rest of the eps in the states at least for a while) though I'd probably continue to watch if it were on broadcast - or Netflix US.

3 episodes in and it is complete garbage. If you want a dark, edgy military Sci-Fi ... don't call it Star Trek. Create a new property.
The whole show is basically a steaming dump onto the entire franchise.

The SJWs took a sh*t on Star Trek. They built a show around their l1bt@rd worldview, then smacked the label Star Trek on it for credibility.

none of the characters that survive past episode 2 were any good.

Considering the behind-the-scenes turmoil involved in launching "Star Trek: Discovery" -- co-creator Bryan Fuller ("Hannibal") left the show, amid conflicting reports as to why -- it's not surprising that "Star Trek: Discovery" feels like it's just finding its footing.

WHOZIT

I went to YOUTUBE and checked many of the reviews for the show, the reviewers that review everything had mixed reviews while Trekies trashed it.

geez. They actually produced and filmed that Woke dreck?

They deserve to never again have a job or role in "entertainment" -ever.

Picard was political since episode one. Pure Leftist trash.

Nothing but unwatchable garbage in the Star Trek universe since Enterprise.
