My local ABC affiliate started airing 2 more channels, one of them this H and I.

No more dead time on the TV schedule.

Looks like this Channel has a lot of Star Trek series on their rotation, like 4 or 5 of them. I might be able to get caught up on the Voyager episodes. I don't recall seeing such fine resolution and High Definition on TOS broadcast before, and gives a thrill.

I'm assuming this channel has been available elsewhere before, anybody else watching?

So far I've seen TOS, STNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise.

The Definition of TOS space shots is striking and stark.

DS9 is and probably always be my favorite ST series.

I tried revisiting Voyager about 5 years ago. I remember watching a lot of the first season and liking it when it originally ran, but I just couldn't get back into it for some reason. Among other flaws, it is probably just too dated for my tastes. Around that time I also watched the first few seasons of Enterprise, but I got bored of it before I finished.

I've never actually been much of a Star Trek fan overall. TNG was decent and I watched with my old man when I was a kid, but that was about it until I was around 30 and they were playing DS9 episodes when I got off of work that I decided to watch it all from start to finish.

There's something about that series I really liked. I think it's probably that I liked the characters and their interactions with each other better than any of the other shows. The joke I always heard was "Deep Space 9 - To Boldly Stay at Home!". But maybe that's just it... Even though all the ships are large enough to be called home, none of them felt the same as everybody living in a community on that space station. I really liked Quark as the shady bartender who ultimately had a heart of gold underneath it all.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Have you seen the resolution/definition of the Star Trek TOS?
