The geeks on YOUTUBE are drooling over this, even Doomcock liked it. I don't have Disney + so I can't see it.

I haven't even heard of it.

In 2022, that almost certainly means that it's not a pure piece of woke trash.

I wouldn't ever sign up for Disney+ to get it, but there are other channels to find such things. Just stay away from torrenting it without a VPN though. Disney above all other companies is highly protective of its property and at the very least I can guaranty you'll get a nasty email notifying you that your infraction was noticed.

Also, I just checked Rotten Tomatoes and it has a 91% score for both critics and audience, with 97 critic ratings and 1000+ audience ratings, which is almost unheard of these days.

If you do see it, I'd love to hear what you think of it.

I hadn't heard of it until a couple of days a go, but it has over 90 million views. This, 'The Squid Games', 'RRR' and some other shows and flicks I don't hear or read about until some YOUTUBERS start raving about them. YOUTUBERS sell these shows better than the studios do and don't make a dime from them.

Yes I watched it, the movie entertains its short like a tv pilot, some scary funny horror spooky moments. It's not really like Marvel superhero maybe a bit more old classic Nosferatu 1920s, 1940s Wolf Man an American Werewolf In London, Beetlejuice, Tales From The Crypt, Frightners, Army of Darkness, Haunted Honeymoon, Plan 9, Evil Dead, silly slap stick tension and action are good the Black and White and minimal use of color gives it a style aesthetic, some nice timed comedy and spooky looking creatures.

A little bit of Hunger Games, Into The Dark, Stan Against Evil, Black Mirror, Twilight Zone, Battle Royale, Squid Games, Misfits, Running Man to it but with goofy occult theme.

Its fun, weird, a tribute to classic horror & entertains.

That's the main takeaway right there, isn't it?

The reverse side of the coin is what they'll never actually admit to (at least genuinely without calling people who don't watch the show toxic, racist, sexist, et al.). The same Youtubers that can make a show can just as easily break it now as well.

I'd like to think that the general population of normies would have come to their own conclusion that Return of the Rings, She Hulk: Attorney at Law and anything else Marvel has put out post End Game, woke reboots like Ghostbusters 2016 and Terminator: Dark Fate were all trash not worth watching and we would end up in the same place we are right now where everyone's tired of this shit, but at least with the YouTubers and early word of mouth they're not making any money off the crap upfront before the normies figure it out for themselves.

You should take a look at the initial critical reviews raving about The Rings of Power when the first 3 episodes dropped on Amazon, then take a look at the articles from the same Leftist rags that admit it was dogshit after the series concluded. Even they're sick of swallowing their own bullshit in October of 2022.

Yes, the same critics that hated 'The Orville' season 1 all of a sudden loved season 2 when the saw the fans loved it.

Thanks, the geeks are also giving it good reviews, but I'll never get Disney + after what they did to Gina Carano and Star Wars in general

Yeah. I think a lot of them are going to be fired in the next few years. They don't actually do anything for a living except for lie to people and piss people off. The venture capital is drying up thanks to Obiden and the Democrats, so every time you get pissed off when you look at the prices of gas and food just remember that the upcoming renaissance of entertainment never would have happened had the money not disappeared.

Oh yeah... and I'd say "how could I forget about Star Wars" in my last post, but I'm not surprised. Star Wars has been dead to me long before the woke army at Disney got their filthy paws on it. As far as I'm concerned, only the first three movies are cannon and everything else is fan-fic. Even George's prequel trash.

We decide what is and isn't cannon. They don't get to do that for us.

If you can't or don't bother to find another way to get it, you'll eventually be able to see it.

I think the "boom" of streaming services is also going to die because of the economy and only a few major players will remain. Woke is going to play a big part in that, and Disney doesn't seem to have learned any lessons yet. They're huge, but they don't own the printing presses. My bet is that they don't survive the streaming wars and you'll be able to watch the few things you'd ever want to see on their current platform on other streaming services that did learn the lessons like Netflix and WB seem to be doing right now.

I think that 20 years from now people will be talking about the fall of Disney+ in a similar fashion to how they talk about the fall of Blockbuster today and how they didn't navigate the changing market to their own peril.
