Dr. Strange 2. At least if it's going to be what I've heard it's going to be. Otherwise, if it's just the same old MCU crap, I'll pass.

The only other one I'd put on the list would be Edge of Tomorrow 2, but I think they said they're not even going to start shooting that until next year if it even gets made.

That is all.

Looks like The Quiet Place II is coming up quick.

Poster has Emily carrying a gun.

Woot.

Seems to be slim pickens at the cinema. Lots of PG-13 stuff, nothing R rated that looks interesting.

I think I will go see Braveheart tonight. Sure, it is 25 years old, and I own at least 2 copies of it. But I think I avoided it in the original run, and the price is only $6 for tonight's showing.

That's cool you have a theater that shows old movies like that.

I never saw Braveheart. I'd probably pay $6 to see it in the theater now.

Braveheart is a good movie.

Ending is a bit rough to watch though.

Look for a Marcus theater. They are playing a bunch of older films. Groundhog Day was recently, I think Titanic is coming up, I think Ghostbusters too.

Well, I've seen Braveheart dozens of time, but likely not 100 times. I'm thinking the theater sound system has improved in the past 25 years, because it was really astounding for this film.

Now that you mention Marcus Theaters I remember a guy I worked with talking about that place back when I lived up there. Don't know why I never went.

The closest one to me seems to be quite a haul. Maybe I'll look into it though and see if my brother wants to go the next time I drive out by him. I'd love to see something like Ghostbusters or The Goonies on the big screen one day.

I do own Forrest Gump on DVD and VHS.
I quickly realized that one reason I have favorable feeling when I think of FG is because I am able to skip past all of the scenes with Robin Wright. But last night I had to suffer through the whole thing.

Rewatching all of these years, I keep thinking how I recognize Shioban Fallon from MIB and The Negotiator, and I have always enjoyed her work. But Gump ws my first exposure to her, and I couldn't have recognized her for that reason - and then she was in Only You that year, and a slew of other films that I enjoyed with her in them.

This was also the year before Apollo 13, and long before Green Mile, so I had only seen Hanks from his earlier films, what might be called his younger phase - he had not used this image, this style before, but has alot since.

Not sure if there are many of these "classic" films which I might need to see this year, but it makes me wonder why Hollywierd doesn't make some quality films anymore.

I don't know from Minions**. What did they do there?

** - I have not watched them, but I have practice making them. I worked at a desk next to a Safety Officer. When I pulled out my earplugs every day (had to plug them for walking 15 feet), they were yellow foam cones, bullet shaped. So some black pen ink would convert each to a Minion, and I'd line them up along the top of the Safety guy's monitor. When drawing these at first, if you make a mistake, a one-eyed merely becomes a 2-eyed, etc. Easy.

I'm a bit baffled at how anyone doesn't know about Minions. From the original Despicable Me movie, they were Gru's henchmen, his MINIONS, as he called them. Literal minions. Now 3 Despicable Me movies and their own 2nd spin off movie...

This week my local theater is showing Labyrinth. Which I never saw in cinema. Reading about it, I see it was filmed next door to Legend, and the casts and crews intermingled regularly - Mia Sara met her husband here. So it seems Jennifer Connolly and Tom Cruise likely met and perhaps hung out a bit. Now they are in Top Gun 2 together, without apparently every sharing roles in a film before.

The Hunt actually looks pretty good. I thought it had come out already, but I guess it was postponed last summer.

It's probably a bit too gory for my tastes though. Maybe I'll just watch The Pest for the 10th time instead if I want to get my Most Dangerous Game on again.

Hunt won't get any money from me, too close to reality. Maybe a film about those insane delusional Libtards being hinted down by reasonable folk would spur the revenge twinge better.

I don't think the movie ends up the way that you think it ends up.

I'm glad Hunt is being released in the midst of the Wuhan virus.

So much else going on, it'll likely get overlooked, or possibly, cancelled. If movie theatres get closed down for a while.

Fingers crossed.

Ummmmmmm.....

I'm pretty sure the folks like you and me are the heroes of the story.

If I'm wrong about that, please feel free to show me any evidence to the contrary.

Because if you guys believe that, and the SJWs and NPCs hold their conflicting beliefs in 100% contrast to yours about this movie, then pretty much nobody is going to see it.

Kind of want to watch it more now. My curiosity is piqued. Maybe I can sit through the gore if it's cartoonish enough.

I'm not saying that the obvious ending is that the smart, reasonable, logical, sensible, problem-solving folk won't be able to upstage the delusional, insane, crazy SCREECHING, left-wing extremist insipid Libtards. But the premise is disgusting. If the Libtards all die in the first 10 minutes by standing in the path of a felled Sequoia, then that would be alright, but I doubt that happens in the film, like it does in real life.

I really don't care. I'll never watch it, but where is the angst and gnashing of teeth that it'll ' TRIGGER ' some incel Leftist punk into taking matters into his ( or her ) own hands and go all Aurora Colorado, like were told absolutely would happen with Joker / #WhiteMaleRage

I'm just trying to figure out why you both don't what to see it is all.

It sounds like the "Liberal Elites" are the bad guys in this flick. Kind of the reverse of the version of "Surviving the Game" when Ice-T was the protagonist. I remember reading the original story in English class in high school.

I mean, even in The Pest, way before "woke" was a word, the bad guys were German white dudes hunting John Linguizamo for sport.

I remember showing The Pest to some of my friends right outside of high school and one of them told me they were pissed at me for making them watch it and they felt stupider after seeing it. I dunno. It always makes me laugh.

Anybody know a good place to look online to see if any theaters are still open by you?

I'm going to call a few of my buddies up and see if they want to go see a movie tomorrow night. Whether they all voluntarily shut down, are ordered to shut down, or even our own states decide to quarantine everybody for a few weeks over this, it might be our last chance to do so for a while.

I kind of don't like being told what I can and can not do.

Guess they may have finally figured out what it takes to get me to go see a movie.

At this point, I don't even care what one it is. Hell... I might go see Birds of Prey or even *gasp* Episode 9.

Do you recall when some of us here were chatting about actors such as Gina Torres, and you inquired "who is Gina?" - and we explained who Gina Torres was, for those neophytes on the Firefly Fans messageboard? I didn't think you were kidding then.
