Tomorrow I leave to visit my younger sister and her husband in Florida . I haven't seen Goober (as I affectionately call little sis) since New Year's, so I'm pretty excited. Serenity, aka, CallMeSerenity, will be there which makes it even better. Yes, I really DO love her dearly; we always act mean to each other, it's our way of showing affection. (Happy Serenity?! I admitted it.)The only downside is that I doubt I'll find time to get online very often. A crushing blow to the site, I know, but I'm sure you guys will manage.

It's not just Florida. I'm in Kentucky and I've got a friend we call Goob. Of course, people in Kentucky get called many things other than their Christian names, but ...

I lived in FL for four years and I never once called anyone a Goob. Or was called one. Don't know where that came from. We call our sister all sorts of lover-ly names. Goober, Nerd and Brat being my personal favourites. She has her own for us.
Only I'm jealous because Ath left today, whereas I can't leave until Friday. And he's staying a full week and I only get 4 days. Oh well. I do get to visit with some of my friends whom I haven't seen in ever so long.
