I have the same problem TWG does at the UB. Just today they mocked my name and called me something I felt was inappropriate. Hurt my feelings, they did.

Y'know, I've never bothered with the UB--it just seems like too much trouble, and I'm really not interested in having someone judge my worth by how many brownie points I have.

Hearing that they picked on TWG and CMS, I feel better about my decision. Sheesh.

We all came here for different reasons....I enjoy the hell out of Firefly. Sometimes finding folks w/ similar likes turns into something really cool. Not always. May we all find what we're looking for... :)

excuiseme? who is twg? and people picked on you Call me serenity? sorry to hear that. Thats awful, and same to you serenity girl for not feeling welcome, but from the responses on this thread it seems people want you to stay on this forum.

I have been a somewhat poster/lurker for the past 2 months on the UB and I didnt have troubles yet, though i stay out of the political discussions there. I just signed up here on fireflyfans today, (wanted to promote the 1st shindig in montreal!)
