Today, was registering a domain name that contained the word "dingoes", had a momentary spelling brain-is-missing moment, so exercised my well honed paranoia to use dictionary.com to verify the spelling, which produced:Quote:

and immediately thought "your coat is kinda a... brownish color".

nope, none of those, but good tries! The domain was bought as a gift for a friend, and won't have any content up for a while, so I'd rather not mention the name just yet.
Let's just say it's inspired by a local government pork barrel project sometimes known as the "Iowa Rain Forest". Being a sensible Independant, you're probably now asking yourself "why would anyone spend almost 200 million dollars to build a simulated rain forest on the alternately frozen & parched landscape of Iowa?".
My best answer would have to be "That's what governments are for. Get in a man's way." :)
Anyway, over the course of several GeekLunches discussing the encroaching Rain Forest, our native AlphaGeek proposed "introducing" dingoes into the rain forest, for politically incorrect reasons. :)
