I wish I was psychic.

Monday, November 7, 2005 11:14 AM

It would make things so much easier. And interesting....very interesting. Well...I guess I'm wishing I was telepathic.

It'd be nice to know what someones thinking...or what they mean when they say something. You know, what the really mean?

Without having to admit that you know it. Just...walking into someones mind. I guess its kinda like reading a diary. And I guess its wrong in that respect.

Writing a diary must feel rather odd. I started a manly "journal" once. That didn't last very long. But when I was writing it...I kinda wrote with it in mind that one day when I was long gone someone would find it and read it. I'd like that. Someone to read my thoughts and feelings when Im no longer here.

Hmmm

Yeah I don't really know what this blogs about.

I passed my driving theory test, wahoo.

Congrats PR!

Congrats on the test!!

You know, sometimes I feel as if I'd wanna be psychic, just to know what everyone was thinking.

But then... perhaps not, because I'm much more like Kaylee than River and when people look at me and smile I'd much rather not know they're thinking "oh, god, how soon before I can make my exit, this bitch is boring the f*** out of me". I like to see good in people, even if it's only surface good.

I had that thought before, too, about diaries and how there are always stories about how people find their grandparents' old diaries and find some connection with them they thought they'd lost or never had... and what will be this generation's diaries? Where will our grandkids look for our thoughts?

Old abandoned internet logs that have bad spelling and links to NC-17 fanfic? Oh, it'll be a special moment for them, I'm sure.

I'm just a bag full of cheer today, I'm gonna go now.

Congrats again on the driving test!!!

You're so funny PR.
I keep a journal, but I DON'T want anyone reading them after I'm gone, so I burn them after I fill them out.

I like my private thoughts staying private.

Oh, and the Tranquili-Bush! Genius. I was laughing SO VERY HARD.

How is it that you got a D in English? How is that possible?

Thanks Jacqui and Mai!

CMS - Ugh, I have no idea. I'm resitting in Jan though. I got a B on one paper and a U (ungraded, so bad they couldn't grade it) on the other.

In my GCSE's I got a B in English Language and an A* in English Lit.

I was just thinking about all our names the other day on the way to school, and the idea came into my mind...but really, I just made up some silly story as I went along, I just wanted to have all the names in there somewhere!

You burn your journals, huh? Interesting....

*PR wonders if he can learn to read smoke*

And thank you, you're funny too! I one the award fro being the Funniest person of the class of 2004 at our high school prom, but at the college summer ball, my friend Jim won. *Crushes yoghurt pot.* And he paid for it with his hair!! *Mine is an evil laugh!*

"Oops, Sorry Jim...'pears I accidentally shaved your head while you were sleeping. But I think it looks nice..."

It would be cool... You could be deeply intuitive without being telepathic.. (Im intuitive...and it's not fun... Just study people and their expressions..it tells all).

I only have a journal when I need to bitch about something..Which is often. LOL

Plus Jewel said it best in one of her blogs.. "If people knew what I was thinking..They'd be VERY offended. " *snort* LOL I can just picture what she thinks...

Hey, A PR thread of psychic fun!

I think everyone's psychic, some people just 'hear it' more easily.

I'm not a true telepath but I can see around corners, and get flashes of thought and emotion from others. Stronger emotions come thru easier, so I used to 'hear' more pain & anger. Now I'm in a better place myself, and I get more happy thoughts. It makes it easier to put myself in a good spot at the right time (to meet someone interesting or see something really cool, but doesn't work for picking lotto ##). I still choose the wrong line at the grocery store, I miss things people say and write, so it doesn't always help me understand people better. Sometimes other people think I'm being an ass when I'm just spacey. Working to remove the junk in my personality that makes me react out of fear works better for me to understand people than psychic talent.

I think, being a true telepath means being neutral about everything (not apathy but compassion). If you have much attachment to outcome or emotion, you can't tune in to the signal. Which is a good thing, I think. You wouldn't want people who'd like power over you walking into your head to know what you're thinking. I can't read thoughts (as in pull them out of someone's head), so don't get worried bwah haa haa. I do get a sense sometimes of what people look like, or at least a sort of painting of their emotional attitude, and those paintings are pretty darn cool.

Thanks for the fun blooog, glad you passed your driving test.

I knew you were going to say that.

Liminalosity - Wow thats really interesting. Quite a gift!

I once found this site that had various things you could do to learn telekinesis, or well...to practice it or whatever, they made it sound so simple.

Ya know, they say that we only use 10% of our brain...so, maybe thats something thats in the other 90%, along with the power to create chocholate.

haha! THE POWER TO CREATE CHOCOLATE

Oh that's classic, PR. Teehee.
Monday, 07 November 2005 23:24
Well I was just saying to Carola how much I wish I had some.

And I don't.

So I KNOW it'd come in handy.

And think of the possibilities...I'd be like...a superhero!

If a large truck was aboout to run someone over, I could creat a wall of chocolate to protect them!

AND I could end famine.

Yeah it's fun, and I think it's made me a much nicer person.

The thing that got me to recognize how to hear it was a book somebody gave me about channeling. There were exercises to train yourself to notice the differences between say, the energy of a pinecone and the energy of a flower, or between a rock and a piece of chocolate. Not saying learn to channel, but flexing brain muscles is fun.

Telekenesis, I think, involves wanting to do no harm as much as reading people's minds does. You wouldn't want to hurt the spoon when you bend it with your mind (Matrix moment). That I don't even try to do, but I've gotten pretty good at knowing when something's going to fall off the table, and catching it before it crashes, or sensing when I come to an intersection where there's 'accident about to happen' energy.

Anyway, this is your blooog, not mine! Part of the reason I came to your party when I saw it on the hill was to hint that I think you wouldn't even need much practice, and it is fun, and very interesting.

Still not about me...
Is your gran still planning to give you a car to go with your shiny nw driving permit?

Hey, congrats on passing your test. I knew you would.

Is it wrong that I only noticed the word 'chocolate' while reading these replies?
