The Firefly Apostle

Hubby and I are watching Gonzaga playing at the Maui Invitational. Go Zags! (It's half time.) He looks up and sees my Firefly DVDs and says, "Oh, I need to take those in for John(?). Oh, and Jim(?) says he wants to see them too. I've become your Firefly Apostle."

Boooo.

He then says John is going to try to burn his own, to which I say (jokingly-think lofty, snotty voice), "I don't condone piracy." He gives me a look (you know the kind). So, I say, "Tell him if he likes them he can at least buy them. No, tell him he can at least buy Serenity." Hubby says John hasn't seen Serenity. Then he says "it's a really good movie." What???!!!

I think hubby is coming around.
