Ok, so for some reason I noticed that I've been on this boat for 19 months an I've never posted a Blog thingie. So I'll start with this: Books Of Magic: The Movie! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411185/
That's right, Timothy Hunter Created back in '90 by Neil Gaiman, way before Potter. Lots of similarities. I always loved the original 4 Books of Magic, so I guess I was biased against that other kid.
