Shindig and converts

On Friday the 12, I hosted a mini-shindig. I invited 5 people, one of whichj was already converted by me (He's here as theheroofcanton aka Hero). So, I showed them Serenity, and all 4 of them fell in LOVE with Firefly. We also played some games.I got two books. A Kafka and an Orwell.
In conclusion, 5 converts for me.

Thing the First: In your profile, you're looking for "Chief."
Thing the Second: Nice work, catching a 1984 quote. Not easy to do. Is this because a) Joss is a huge nerd, or b) MALCOLM is a huge nerd? If it's (b), I find this incredibly interesting. Cuz, y'know, in the pilot, Mal tells Simon that "I'm sure it was a real tale of woe..." referring to Simon and River. This is a quote from "Romeo and Juliet." You don't have to look hard. It's in the Prologue.
Thing the Third: Have you considered, "Society for Creative Euthanasia?" It's more fun to spell than "Murderer."
Thing the Fourth: Thanks for Greeting Me. This is me, Greeting you back. And your front. And helpin' us all avoid that "special" hell. :)
