Hi I need some help with a DVDplay -koder

Hi is there some how mit help me with a kode to a region 1 to a region 2. because my friends DVDplay don't what to play a dvd with region 1 and her's Dvdplay is a region 2. it is a Europa country we live in.COMMENTS: 4

Almost every DVD player ships with
no region setting. It is the encoding of
the first DVD you play that sets the
region for the player (drive).
If you have a stand-alone player, check
the manufacturer's site for a way to change the encoding. Many players allow
up to 5 region-code changes.
If your player is a DVD drive in a PC,
you can use a bootable Linux CD and a
program called "regionset" to change
the region setting on the drive.
I think Knoppix and Elive come with
regionset already installed.

Regions? We have been divided into regions? The damn Allience has aready won.
Shepard said something about a house divided can not stand.
Damn a bunch of regions and DVD players that wont play anywhere.
