I have a friend in the Independent Film Industry who was negotiating with Jewel Staite (Kaylee) for his next project. She wound up having to turn it down because of a new contract she signed for at least 2 more movies. Not sure if they are TV or Theatre release, though.COMMENTS: 3

Keeping my fingers crossed! Glad to see Jewels got a nice work funnel. Really talented actresses are often forgotten because they don't have big names.

Yep, I was really excited at the prospect of getting to meet her. But when he told me she turned the role down and why I was pretty stoked.

Eeeeeenteresting. However, it'll be even more eeenteresting to see how future FF/S movies shape up without you-know-who and you-know-who-else.
