Could've Used a Browncoat

Sunday, April 2, 2006 6:25 AM

Just in case you don't know, I live in Hawaii. Generally speaking, that means temperatures in the upper-70s to mid-80s most days, and mid-60s to low-70s most nights, with a dose of high humidity now and then.

Not the ideal weather for me to own a duster of any kind (humidity more than anything else) let alone a brown one.

That being said, for the last 41 days--yes, 40 days and 40 nights of rain, people!--we've had nothing but constant rain and, I think, one or two very small tornados (I'm sure some of you know this as it's made some national news). Today it's clear, but there's still more rain projected this week!

Needless to say, I should seriously invest in a real browncoat of my own... Who knows when the next Biblical flood might hit again?

Ah "ni haozit," guess that's a dead giveaway you're local, huh?

I live on Oahu, but I've got family on the Wailuku side of Maui.
