Zoe has always been one of my favorite characters because she's almost more mysterious than Mal or River, my other favs. She keeps everything so tight inside, and Joss never really got a chance to tell us anything solid about her. It's so hard to tell what she's really thinking, though her bonds with Mal and Wash and the rest of the crew are clear. Maybe I just like her so much because she's a soldier, and female, and doesn't take any shit from anyone...COMMENTS: 1

One think I think that got missed out on is just why exactly Zoe is so loyal to Mal....cuz while the Capt. is a good man and all, his plans often leave something to be desired. Gotta wonder how a woman seemingly versed in tactics and deep planning is XO for a space cowboy;)
