Can someone let me know what is usually written in these things?

I wasn't sure whether this is the the right place to put this, but I wanted to let people know that I have 8 chapters of my story Winding River written to date. Should I post them all at once or space them out a bit so that you don't have a big wait for the end of the story? It should reach about 14 chapters in all. Hope it pleases! Let me know how I can improve it.

Blog is short for Web Log. maybe people use it as an online diary. Basically, you can post whatever you want here.

I would spread out your fic. Personally, I feel that it is a courtesy to other writers/artists to space things out so that everyone's story can spend a good amount of time on the front page, and therefore gains more readers/viewers. Good luck with your fic!

Yep, what Arcadia said. You can post just about anything here. If read a sample of the other logs in this site, you should get a fair idea of just random we can be :)

I agree with Arcadia about the spacing. Usually it's better to pace things and make the audience wait.

Went to check out your fic (i'm over at ff.net as jazzymcwier) and apparently they're having some sort of problem today, because it gave me an error message. Oh, well, I'll look really soon! :-D
