Hello everyone, just finally posting my home-made hovercraft which I nicknamed the Mule. This would be me, riding on it.Just wanted to share with ya'll.

Sorry,
It works with a lawnmower blowing air down into a plastic sheeting that has holesin the center of it, in a kind of Doughnut shaped balloon. It's called a plenum chamber, it distributes air equally and creates a huge amount of reduced friction. The plans can be found here: http://www.amasci.com/amateur/hovercft.html
although they are slightly different from what I used.

yeah our science teachers do that as a project with the students. It requires if I remember a leaf blower, duct tape, and something else...anyway looks like yours came out great way to go!!
