Single Again

Hmm. Not sure I like this much. After a year of having someone, I'm back on my own again. Lots of weird things - I have vast amounts of free time now and am unsure how to fill it. Plus there's the fun of breaking the news to friends and family - though to be honest, I'd have preferred it if they had been more surprised.

I'm just glad I'm on holiday at the moment, allows comfort shopping (for the record, 14 DVDs, a football, three Nintendo DS games, 12 pairs of socks and a £173,000 house). Oh yeah, I'm getting a house.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to fill it.

Don't worry about filling your house. They fill themselves while you aren't paying attention. We had almost nothing when we bought our house, and now we stand around, scratching our heads, and wondering where all the *stuff* came from and how to get rid of some of it!
The socks are a good start though. Our house eats socks.

Good luck with sorting out how to spend your free time, or finding someone to spend it with!

Being single can have its advantages (own hours, no need to share resources, total control over environment, etc.), but I do feel for ya, SimonWho:)

Getting a house, eh? Definitely gonna be a lot more fun than my search for a place to live. Definitely ain't gonna be a house though;)
