For being the "asshole" of the group, Jayne is just too damn lovable as the same time.
You really feel for him when he tries to give up his favorite Gun to Mal... I felt an "awww" come on at that moment.
Adam Ballwin has always been a great actor, he has a way of helping an audience find love for the worst of characters...still lvoe him in "Full Metal Jacket"
