River Tam

So i was driving on Sunday in Virginia when I saw a guy driving with license plates that said River Tam. I wanted to honk at him but then realized I didn't know how to let him know what I was honking at...a missed browncoat opportunity <sigh>

What you need to do is get yourself a set of Firefly plates. ;) My plate says CAPNMAL, and a couple of weeks ago I got a smile and a wave from another motorist whose plate read SHINY-. Come to think of it, if your honk is accompanied by a smile and a wave, permaybehaps he'll know what you're getting at since there's really no other visible reason for you to be greeting him. But I still think you ought to get yourself a Firefly plate. ;)

I thought about that but I was so excited that I think I would have come off looking like a crazy. I was just driving down the road and he zoomed past when I saw it and I knew I had to catch up, then when I did I was speechless.

I'm moving to VA so I'm gonna look into Firefly plates.

I checked and SHINY is taken but SHYNY is still avaible but I'm not sure if that has the same effect, any opinions?

Artcat's site has those letters you can put in your car window that read Shiny in very nice lettering. But I think Shyny would do the job also (except permaybehaps someone might just think you're shy )
