Oo, Stratford.

Tuesday, July 17, 2007 9:19 PM

My dad is taking me to Stratford, Ontario tomorrow. For those who don't know, Stratford, Ontario is very well known for their multiple theaters where many well known, and original plays are preformed. It is quite an interesting experience.

We're going to see a dramitization of To Kill A Mockingbird (one of my all-time favourite books) on Wedenesday, then on Thursday, Oklahoma.

I'm very excited. I've only been to Stratford once, wit my friend and her mom, and we saw Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. It was really cool, so I'm really looking foreward to going again.

It's a beautiful place. I live about an hour away from it. I loved the theater. It's been years since I've seen a play there. Enjoy!

Oh I love to kill a mockingbird...it's like visiting my childhood ( somewhat and without the riacism and huge trial and such)

Oh dear, They were both gorgeous. If I could, I would go and see them both again. Since I saw Oklahoma! last, I've been singing Songs from it ever since. Mostly "Oh, what a Beautiful Mornin'" and "Oklahoma".

Jaynesgirl, You're so lucky you live only an hour away! We had to drive for 3! Ah well, it was totally worth it.

Yes TKAM is amazing. They were very true to the novel, they left some things out, because its a play, but it was really well done, the kids who played Jem, Scout and Dill were amazing. For Scout and Dill, it was their first preformance at Stratford.
