Back in the west

I have been home for almost one week now. It wasn't really sad to leave St. Petersburg. After six weeks living out of a suitcase and a rather unpleasant confrontation with some of those who rented us apartments near the end, it was rather nice to head back to drinkable tap water and waiters that have heard the word service and have a concept of what it means. I'm definitely going back though. It's an absolutely beautiful city, with an interesting history. I do want to go other places in Russia too.

Here at home its raining, its cold, I'm unemployed and broke. Not the highpoint of my life. Finding work is boring. I do wish I was still a student... well, it will be alright. It always turns out well... most of the time anyway.
