Why do I always fall in love with cancelled shows???

When I discovered "Firefly" it was too late. Several years too late.To my defense I have to say that I live in a small European country where the tv channels never show anything but the biggest and worst of the American shows (or reruns from the eighties). Thanks to Internet I discovered "Firefly" eventually and fell in love. The same can also be said about "Carnivale" - one of the most beautiful and frustrating tv series I have ever seen. That one was of course also cancelled :(
And now when I have found another tv show that I totally love - "John From Cincinnati"... What happens? They cancel it! Grrrrrr!

O.O They canceled it?? I thought they were gunna have a second season... I know that there was only like 6 episodes total in the first season... but... cancelled... man, what is wrong with American tv??

I don't understand exactly why it is the way it is, but the reason these shows tend to get canceled has a lot to do with money and pride. That's the big bad secret they won't tell you.

Firefly gets cancelled but the not half as good and very confusing 4400 lives on, where's the justice?
