Need some help from the coats

I have a project for my costuming class to create a mask. I wanted to make it firefly themed but I'm having issues coming up with ideas for what to put on it. I have to design it by monday so any help/ideas would be appreciated!

Why not do a series of nine masks - one very posh ladies one to represent Inara, one with views of Serenity all around it to denote the Captain, one with tools and such for Kaylee, one with a bible and so on for Book etc. Or if you only want to do one mask for the whole thing then have little images of all the characters around the eyes including the tenth crew member - Serenity? Ali D :~)
