sheperds hair

i would very much like to know why we only see shepereds AWESOME hair once? its so cool. its all, POOOOOF! ya know? i mean, i would never want hair like that, but it suite him as a charecter. AND DONT YOU JUST LOVE THE WAY RIVER REACTS TO IT?!?! i forgot exactly what she said, but something like, 'cant. too much hair."
she is so awesome.
but so is sheperds HAIR!!!!!!!!

I went to Ron Glass's Q and A at Dragon Con Saturday. His hair was already long when he auditioned for the part. He even mentioned that he told them and apparently Joss took it in stride and incorporated it with that scene.

BTW Ron Glass's hair is about 2 inches long now and still the beautiful steel gray.
