Does Knitting a Jayne Hat Nullify My Man Card?

So, I've taken up knitting. All because of Firefly. It's actually for the CSTS screenings. If all goes according to plan (heh, I know), then we'll have a Jayne hat to give away at each of the screenings. They're going to show our Reaverized fan film as well.Besides, I'm told that I have no man card, because I bought a minivan for my wife.

By the way,Come on over to the Science Channel forum and take the poll "How long have you been a fan of Firefly" almost 400 reponses with 8000 page views in a day and a half. Interesting statistics, it's almost 50/50 male /female.

Reaverized is the fan film I did about a year ago. It's one of many that will be part of the CSTS screenings, including Browncoats: Redemption.

Actually, now that I think about it, knitting a Jayne hat plates your man card in gold. Now wait, in steel or maybe some other tough looking metalish compound. And rusty, yeah, really rusty, with sharp, dangerous looking edges!

I just watched your film. Nicely done, sir. I especially like the Jayne parts. I was hoping during the shooting spree, that jayne would run past a picture of someone alliance and shoot it in the face out of spite. Anyway, it looks like it was a lot of fun working on it.
I created a poll over at the Science channel to try and drive traffic to their site and show that we are still out here and are interested in Firefly content even if we've seen it before.
The poll has over 500 respondents and 11,000 page views in the last three days. I find it interesting that the ratio of m/f has been an almost perfect 50/50 throughout. How many sci fi shows can say that?
Anyway, I 'd love it if you took the poll and spread the word.
I also want to get some good conversations going over there. site traffic says ad dollars which says value to the studio.
