Jousting for photos.

The 'Spectacular Jousting' event arrived in town yesterday, and I soaked in the medieval atmosphere.'Soaked' is the operative word, because it rained pretty hard throughout. (I lasted three hours before calling it a day.) Although, I really enjoyed it again this year, (it seemed funnier) and managed to take a couple of good pictures.
Here are my favourites:
'DRAW.'

'788.'

'Smoke.'

Thanks Dun. These guys were open to photography from the press and tourists. The sword in the first picture weighed 7 lbs.
The jousting event is organised by Historic Scotland, and it's an annual fixture. The live demonstrations are held on the grounds of an old royal palace.
I live near Edinburgh, in a small town. Luckily (or not so lucky), we only have this brand of cosplay. My home town is the birthplace of Scotty from Star Trek. :)
