I finally got fed up with my crappy camera, so I tried my best to recreate the original drawing. The color scheme is new, and probably not permanent. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Nice start! I'm always interested in seeing the "other" ships.
I haven't been able to get much source material for this ship. I always thought it looked like the TAC Fighter from Starship Troopers. Which wouldn't be surprising considering the other props used from ST.
