Ok humans, I have sacrificed my soul to satan, beg, borrowed and stolen some money, sacrificed the chance of seeing the BDM before October and am coming to the shindig!

I arrive at London Luton at 13:40 on Saturday 13th August and leave on Monday (yes, Monday) at 12:40.

Praise Carol for her greatness and Fray for her persuasiveness and may everybody else come along as instructed by the mighty SerenityPunk!

Oh My God!!!!!

The new trailer is amazing!

My other half said it was really cool and the best yet - and he isn't even a fan.

It is a stroke of brilliance and actually looks like a proper trailer! I am very excited. Oh God, I hope the Shindig is the right choice. I am seriously gambling that I couldn't get tickets for the viewings.

Oh My God, my heart is racing. Our film is coming out and the world will get to know its brilliance.

Oh this is turning into a Shindig & a half! Anyone got sleeping bags? Or are we just not sleeping? (seems the best option at the moment!)

Am now trying to erase any guilt about Emma not being able to make the screenings - Em, the film will still be around in October but how many chances will you have to meet us?! We shall have a most excellent time...And what if you turned us down in the hope of preview tickets & then didn't get any? Just think of that!

But speaking of the previews, Gossi's posted at the UB that plans are running a few days behind.

Just a thought - I believe kind Taxi Lady (aka Carol) offered to pick me up at Northwood Station - if anyone else is coming (PR?), would it be easier to meet in Central London & then head off to Carol's together? Am I right in thinking that the second Serenity comic will be out by then? If so, I'll probably be popping into the West End first anyway.

Hi, all!
I'm quite new to the Firefly franchise, I stumbled over the series due to a commentary on one Angel 5 episode.
I bought the dvds and was immediately sucked into the 'verse, fell in love with Captain Tight Pants and Jayne and the rest is history. 3 week old history, to be precise.

Oh well, guess I'm just another obsessed fan girl.

I'm 41, German, have a brother who lives in London and Easy Jet flies from here (Dortmund) to there dirt cheap. So I'm going to see the movie there, come hell or high water. Yay me!

Innitiation-wise, please note that I'm a freakin foreigner to the english language and don't have a way with words... but I have MY way with words. And I saw penguins last year, in South Africa of all places.
So give me your best shot and I'll come up with some random, meaningless drabble that makes no sense whatsoever. I'm good at that.

Speaking of randomness:
I had a bycicle accident Wednesday last and am now sporting a black eye that's really more dark red going aubergine. And I picked a pair of pants in matching colour today. Ain't that strange?
