What a great debating strategy! "Nuh-uh!" Waving that big red "Clueless" flag again.

Clearly, Trump's Ukraine phone transcript is evidence at the very least of abuse of power. I suppose you can go turtle and keep saying "nuh-uh!" about everything though - have at it.

You can find people who say that it was treason. There are just as many people who say it was diplomacy.

Whatever dude. Democrats hung themselves on this one. Get over it.

Otherwise you're in for a long 5 years.

Key Points

President Donald Trump will win reelection easily in 2020 if the economy holds up, modeling by Moody’s Analytics shows.
“If voters were to vote primarily on the basis of their pocketbooks, the president would steamroll the competition,” the report states.
Three models show Trump getting at least 289 electoral votes and as many as 351, assuming average turnout.
The Moody’s models have been backtested to 1980 and were correct each time — except in 2016, when it indicated Clinton would get a narrow victory.

(BTW... Yes, that's a possible 380 electoral votes for Trump's re-election with low voter turnout. It's not a typo. Maybe the 351 that the first article I posted by CNBC was? Either that, they didn't bother to actually look at the report, OR THEY WERE LYING AGAIN.)

6ix, you are counting your chickens before they hatch:

Moody’s found that if turnout among non-incumbent voters — Democrats and independents — were to match historical highs, the Democratic nominee would win under the stock market and employment models as well as an average of the three models.

And plenty could still change between now and next November that would move state-level economic models away from Trump, especially in the critical states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

o-a-trump-win-047021

Moody’s also does not attempt to account for the personal characteristics of candidates, relying instead on typical voter behavior for generic nominees of either party. And Trump is about as far from a generic candidate as it is possible to be. On the other hand, V.P. Mike Pence is completely generic. I suggest Trump resign and Pence run for President.

I looked at the whole report.

It says that under ideal (for you) conditions, the Democrats barely eek out a win.

Moody's has only been wrong once in 40 years. It said that Clinton would eek out a victory in 2016.

The ideal condition for me is a Republican party win, but I'm voting for Democrats because I have strongly negative opinions about Trump voters, opinions which have nothing to do with politics but everything to do with who these people are, although I will note that I like and admire the rich Trump voters who dislike Trump the Man, but will vote for Trump the President since he delivers for the rich. I'm also the kind of person who pines for the good old days when Firefly was making new episodes.

Ex-Aide Saw Gordon Sondland as a Potential National Security Risk

WASHINGTON — A former top White House foreign policy adviser told House impeachment investigators this week that she viewed Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, as a potential national security risk because he was so unprepared for his job, according to two people familiar with her private testimony.

I think Trump is trying to bring back Firefly. Actually, he is trying different entertaining ideas in hopes that one of those ideas gets network approval and an order for a 13 episode season on FOX, just like the original Firefly.

Trump and his supporters are in the exploratory phase of the impeachment defense show, trying various excuses on for size and hoping one resonates enough to get him through the mushrooming Ukraine scandal.

We've already seen various contenders: "perfect conversation," "no quid pro quo," "Democrat scam," "presidential harassment," allegations of a biased media and the idea that Trump is too great to impeach, among others. But there is one line of defense that stands above (or below) the rest for its sheer absurdity, mendacity and, well, chutzpah: Donald Trump, International Corruption Buster.

Prosecutors see all manner of defenses. Some are compelling, others vaguely plausible, still others laughable. But the notion of Donald J. Trump as a corruption-buster would be comedic if it wasn't so hypocritical and misleading. Trump may yet come up with a compelling defense against the rising tide of impeachment, but this sure isn't it.

When Trump was asked recently to name a single foreign corruption case he had shown any interest in — besides those involving his political opponents — Trump spun in a circle: "You know, we would have to look..." Apparently, Trump is still looking.

If the US government — typically through the Justice Department — wants to address foreign corruption lawfully and through official channels, it can formally request cooperation through a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty. Such requests are commonplace and the fact that Trump operated outside established legal channels says everything about his intent.

Schiff: Mulvaney comments on Ukraine aid have made things 'much, much worse'

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said Thursday that acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney's comments linked the withholding of aid to Ukraine to investigations into the 2016 election have made things "much worse" for the president.

Impeachment is too important to leave to Congress. A lawless president won’t be constrained by establishment politics alone. (Keep in mind that Mitch McConnell decided in 2017 that he would never remove Trump. That is why Trump has always acted as if there were no guard rails to keep him on the road. He felt he could drive in the grass or go the wrong way against traffic.) It’s going to take mass mobilization to change Mitch's mind about Trump.

As long as the majority of Kentucky voters are telling Mitch McConnell that keeping Trump in the White House is essential for the voters to keep reelecting Mitch to the Senate, Mitch will keep Trump in the White House.

www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/10/18/20905686/resistance-protest
-impeachment-rallies-trump

"American elites rarely seem to do this, but they should consider the lesson that toppled Mariano Rajoy’s corrupt right-wing government in Spain in 2018, Park Geun-hye’s corrupt right-wing government in South Korea in 2017, and Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson’s corrupt right-wing government in Iceland in 2016: Large-scale public protests work."

"Democrats entered January 2017 with extremely little formal political power. They controlled neither the House nor the Senate nor the White House, and Trump’s victory also dashed their hopes of securing a majority in the Supreme Court.

Grassroots resistance organizations began to form, many operating under the Indivisible label, with a basic goal of maximizing the political price the Republican Party would pay for every forward step. The climate of resistance helped inspire courts to slap down several versions of Trump’s travel ban, helped keep the DACA program alive to this day, inspired civil servants to leak damaging information about Trump’s misconduct, and contributed to the defeat of the Affordable Care Act repeal."

Call me an equal=opportuntiy critic, but how about seeing the same flaws in both? Because they do exist in both parties. If we keep up partisan/tribal bickering for sure nothing will change.

I haven't been following this story because I thought the facts have already been established with the transcript and corroborated by Zelinskiy but ...

"Quid pro quo" means ... literally... "this for that". Some kind of deal is struck where parties exchange something. In order for a deal to be struck, there has to be mutual understanding of what the "this" is versus the "that".

According to Zelinskiy, he didn't know that there was any funding delay, therefore it would have been impossible to pressure him into any specific action, therefore no "quid pro quo" could have been established. If you have any specific contrary information let me know.

It's kind of like the whole concept of "collusion" ... there has to be some sort of ongoing communication to establish joint responses in the face of changing circumstances.

It's not like these people can communicate by telepathy.

According to Zelinskiy according to Zelinskiy, that's funny. Surly Zelinskiy saying Trump was extorting him would endear him to Trump. Surly this would insure Trumps continued support. What a moron comrade sig is.

Anybody with any understanding of how the world works would recognize that the better play is to keep Trumps secret. To hold it as an ace card over Trumps head. It's leverage against any hesitation on Trumps part to provide arms in the future. Wanna bet Zelinskiy got his anti-tank rockets?

I say, enough Russian trolling in these threads. Go home because it seems the Russians can't ever tell the truth.

Talking to Fox News’s Chris Wallace, Mulvaney insisted, absurdly, that he did not, in fact, confirm there was a quid pro quo with Ukraine. Wallace did not buy the make-believe story Mulvaney was selling. Unsurprisingly, within hours of his briefing concluding, Mulvaney released a statement denying he said what he said. That unconvincing damage control operation continues.

You're just to stupid and dishonest to post anything with factual content comrade sig.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, the president’s daughter and son-in-law, brought in at least $82 million in outside income while serving as senior White House advisers during 2017, according to new financial disclosure forms released Monday.

Ivanka Trump earned $3.9 million from her stake in the Trump International Hotel in Washington, while Kushner reported over $5 million in income from Quail Ridge, a Kushner Cos. apartment complex acquired last year in Plainsboro, N.J.

The filings show how the couple are collecting immense sums from other enterprises while serving in the White House, an extraordinary income flow that ethics experts have warned could create potential conflicts of interests.

Oh that's right ... you live in a evidence-free world, which is why you keep getting fooled over and over ... from Vietnam all the way to today.

You keep repeating "evidence-free" as if you can lie your way out of this. Pelosi said, “We have to stay focused as far as the public is concerned on the fact that the president of the United States used taxpayer dollars to shake down the leader of another country for his own political gain.”

The next phase of the impeachment process will likely be open hearings where already gathered evidence is presented to the public and the full House. That will include the most compelling testimony collected so far from witnesses, documents collected by House investigators and at times the president’s own words.

The House investigation has resulted in a flood of new information in recent weeks, including evidence that suggests Trump pushed aside the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, so that a team of his political appointees — some calling themselves "the three amigos" — could pressure the Ukrainian government to create a corruption narrative, and possible charges, against the Bidens.

There has been no evidence of wrongdoing by either Biden.

Some evidence also suggests there was an effort to withhold a White House meeting sought by President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, as well as $391 million in aid Congress had appropriated to help Ukraine to defend itself against Russian aggression, unless Zelenskiy acquiesced to Trump's request to do him a “favor” by investigating an energy company linked to Hunter Biden.

In an Oct. 16 letter to the Democratic caucus, Schiff warned that defying subpoenas would be considered “evidence of the president’s effort to obstruct the impeachment inquiry, and we may also use that obstruction as additional evidence” of “the president’s underlying misconduct.”

Trump is suppose to be at work this morning, but instead he is panicking : President Trump on Tuesday called the impeachment inquiry a “lynching” in an inflammatory tweet that drew swift condemnation from Democrats as a senior diplomat viewed as a key witness testifies.

House investigators are hearing from William B. Taylor Jr., the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, who raised alarms in text messages to other diplomats about a holdup in military aid while President Trump was pressing Ukraine to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

Taylor is the latest official to be deposed behind closed doors as Democrats seek to build their case against Trump.

Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, responded to Trump’s comparison of the impeachment inquiry to lynching with a pair of pointed tweets.

“You are comparing a constitutional process to the PREVALENT and SYSTEMATIC brutal torture of people in THIS COUNTRY that looked like me?” she wrote.

“Every time your back is up against the wall, you throw out these racial bombs,” Bass said in a second tweet. “We’re not taking the bait. While we CONTINUE our business here in DC, why don’t you take a trip to the @MemPeaceJustice in Alabama and LEARN SOMETHING.”

Her tweet used the Twitter handle for the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, which, according to its website, is “dedicated to the legacy of enslaved black people, people terrorized by lynching, African Americans humiliated by racial segregation and Jim Crow, and people of color burdened with contemporary presumptions of guilt and police violence.”

You're trolling me. Senator Graham is trolling. He knows perfectly well that a Committee can talk to anybody it pleases without having to have a vote of the whole House on impeachment to authorize the Committee to talk to people. The FOX commentator should have reminded Graham of that, but FOX is the TROLL Network. All these accusations of trolling going on at fireflyfans, and moving posts to troll country, are just more trolling. It is 24-7 trolling all over America. Even Trump trolls. What a surprise: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1186985677176655872 (I need to explain to 6ix that Whistle blowers are anonymous but Trump wants to know the name of the Whistle blower, probably to fire him/her, which would defeat the purpose of the Whistle blower law. Trump is trolling and it only takes him three words: "Where’s the Whistleblower?" Trump is the greatest troll in America.)

The Ultimate Troll Job by Trump (Trump has HUGE balls to even contemplate, let alone go ahead with, this troll job):

Trump Pressed Ukraine’s President to Act Out a Fake News Script, Live on CNN

October 23 2019, 3:05 p.m.

Before agreeing to release nearly $400 million in military assistance to Ukraine, President Donald Trump extorted a promise from his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, to appear on American television and act out a script prepared for him by Trump’s aides, the top American diplomat in Ukraine, Bill Taylor, told the House impeachment inquiry on Tuesday.

The scene a desperate Zelensky finally agreed to perform would have been the very definition of fake news: a dramatic announcement by the Ukrainian president, during a CNN interview, that he was opening criminal investigations on Joe Biden’s family and other Democrats.

The plot, which would have duped American voters into believing that there was some substance to a debunked conspiracy theory about Biden’s work in Ukraine as vice president, came very close to working.

According to Taylor, a career foreign service official who has served four Republican and two Democratic presidents, until early September, Zelensky and his aides had resisted pressure from Trump to help him smear Biden. Zelensky was supposed to do this by investigating Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company the former vice president’s son Hunter was once paid to advise, as well as claims that Ukrainian officials had revealed evidence of financial crimes by Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort in 2016 to help elect Hillary Clinton.

But once the Ukrainians became aware that the much-needed security assistance Trump had personally held up might never be delivered, Zelensky, who was an actor and comedian before entering politics this year, agreed to play his part in a ruse intended to lend credibility to baseless conspiracy theories about Biden and other Democrats.

When Trump stops doing stuff like this? It happened only last month:
Quote:

By the first week of September, the “favor” Trump had alluded to in vague terms in a July phone call with Zelensky had become a very specific demand: Ukraine’s president, a former actor, would be required to deliver lines on CNN prepared for him by two American diplomats acting on orders from Trump and his shadow secretary of state, Rudy Giuliani.

The White House script to be read by Zelensky would tell CNN: “Special attention should be paid to the problem of interference in the political processes of the United States, especially with the alleged involvement of some Ukrainian politicians. I want to declare that this is unacceptable. We intend to initiate and complete a transparent and unbiased investigation of all available facts and episodes including those involving Burisma and the 2016 U.S. elections.”

Trump’s War on the ‘Deep State’ Turns Against Him

WASHINGTON — Nameless, faceless and voiceless, the C.I.A. officer who first triggered the greatest threat to President Trump’s tenure in office seemed to be practically the embodiment of the “deep state” that the president has long accused of trying to take him down.

But over the last three weeks, the deep state has emerged from the shadows in the form of real live government officials, past and present, who have defied a White House attempt to block cooperation with House impeachment investigators and provided evidence that largely backs up the still-anonymous whistle-blower.

With the investigation going badly for Trump, House Republicans attack the investigators.

A couple dozen far-right Republicans, many of whom had met with the president the previous day, pulled off a stunt.

Busting into a secure area with smartphones to delay proceedings, get media attention, shout at Schiff, and eat pizza was the president’s allies opposite — but not equal — reaction to Tuesday’s impeachment inquiry.

The motivation for the performance was not a mystery. Taylor’s 15-page testimony on Tuesday had been the most thorough, vivid presentation of the Ukranian “quid pro quo” at the heart of the impeachment inquiry since the transcript of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was released in late September. It left little room to defend the president’s actions, as laid out by Taylor, on their substance. Since House Republicans are determined to defend the president regardless, that meant they had to work more aggressively on attacking the process.

It is far-far worse: A Brief Ukrainegate Timeline

My point here is not to recap every detail of how Ukrainegate has played out. My point is to show that this was no spur-of-the-moment outburst from President Trump. He’s clearly been obsessed by it for nearly a year, and he’s involved a wide cast of characters: Giulani, Taylor, Sondland, Volker, Mulvaney, Barr, Yovanovitch, Shulkin, Lutsenko, and a number of others.

This is what makes Ukrainegate such a big deal. It would be bad enough if it were just a typical Trump outburst, soon forgotten by all involved. But it wasn’t: it’s been a wide-ranging, year-long effort to extort a foreign country to smear a political opponent. If that’s not impeachable, nothing is.

Read Trump's Timeline at www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2019/10/a-brief-ukrainegate-timeline/

Judge rules DOJ must turn over Mueller grand jury material to House Democrats

A federal judge on Friday ruled that the Justice Department must turn over former special counsel Robert Mueller's grand jury evidence to the House Judiciary Committee, a groundbreaking victory for Democrats in their effort to investigate whether President Donald Trump should be impeached for obstructing the long-running Russia probe.

In a double victory for Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Judge Beryl Howell — the chief federal judge in Washington — ruled that the impeachment inquiry Democrats have launched is valid even though the House hasn't taken a formal vote on it. The decision rejects arguments by DOJ and congressional Republicans that a formal vote is necessary to launch impeachment proceedings.

Pelosi: Court ruling 'another blow' to President Trump

"Today's ruling in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is another blow to President Trump's attempt to put himself above the law," Pelosi said in a statement Friday.

"This critical court ruling affirms Congress's authority to expose the truth for the American people," she continued. "Most importantly, the Court recognized the House's right to obtain grand jury information pursuant to its impeachment inquiry."

Don't pretend that they're not all doing it on the left either. I know your dumbass hasn't looked at the FEC records for Warren I posted a few weeks back, but she's outright lying to you when she says she's not taking Big Donor money for the Primaries (because she transferred 10.5 Million from her Senate campaign to the Presidential campaign). Then after telling you all that she wouldn't take any big donor money at all she did a complete 180 and said that of course she will be taking big donor money for the General because Orange Man Bad.

Politicians are all garbage people. Most of them are probably criminals. None of them on the Democrat debate stage happen to be very good at their jobs is all.

Even so, they've got years of explaining to do. They helped the president deflect, lie and spin. The courts will continue to reveal Trump guilty of many offences. This is going to go on for years to come. Watch as the trolls here subtly temper their support for Trump. Watch as they try to suggest they knew of his corrupt ways all along.

It's going to be fun to repost all their posts showing how they trolled for him. How they called all the facts that will be laid out and proven true in the courts, as fake news.

The Trump administration has attempted to block a key witness from testifying in the impeachment inquiry by claiming “constitutional immunity.” And that witness — former deputy national security adviser Charles Kupperman — has asked a judge to rule whether his testimony can proceed as planned.

Kupperman made the request in a lawsuit filed Friday; he was set to testify before lawmakers on Monday, after being subpoenaed.

The administration had not previously invoked constitutional immunity, and the decision in Kupperman’s lawsuit could be precedent-setting at a moment in which officials are increasingly caught between directives from the executive and legislative branches that at are, as Kupperman’s lawyer said in a statement, “competing and irreconcilable.”

“Plaintiff obviously cannot satisfy the competing demands of both the legislative and executive branches, and he is aware of no controlling judicial authority definitively establishing which branch’s command should prevail,” the suit reads.

Kupperman’s suit could bring new clarity to the question of what government officials should do when given competing instructions from Congress and the White House.

Sondland Told House Panels Trump's Ukraine Pressure Was Quid Pro Quo

WASHINGTON—A top U.S. diplomat told House committees last week that efforts by President Trump and his allies to press Kyiv to open investigations in exchange for a White House meeting with Ukraine’s president amounted to a quid pro quo, his lawyer said.

If both candidates for President are criminals, why change to a different criminal? Go with the man who has the most experience as President. Reelect Trump 2020! Obviously, their crimes are not of equal seriousness, but you are suppose to ignore the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony, because both are crimes. Elsewhere, Signym claims Trump has Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) so Trump cannot know the different levels of criminality, which makes him the better President.

It is called "negative partisanship." It's not so much that we like our own party as that we detest the other. In fact, Eric Groenendyk, of the University of Memphis, finds evidence that people hate the other party partially because they are disappointed in their own party. "[T]hey appear to be rationalizing continued identification with their party in the face of this ambivalence by reporting even more negative feelings toward the other party," he writes. "In other words, they seem to be engaging in the 'lesser of two evils' identity defense." By protecting their sense of belonging, intense partisan animosity performs what Groenendyk has called 'emotional rescue'. The fevered view of President Obama proffered by people like Dinesh D'Souza may have been absurd, but it did serve the purpose of making every Republican leader look better by comparison. If Donald Trump is the devil incarnate, then you had better support whatever mediocre Democrat is on offer.

In any case, an implication of negative partisanship is that partisans are not so much rallying for a cause or party they believe in as banding together to fight a collective enemy — psychologically and politically a very different kind of proposition, as we see when we look at the literature on what tribalism does to the brain.

www.nationalaffairs.com/publications/detail/rethinking-polarization

The article goes on to say: Fans of opposing sports teams perceive different events in close calls. Fans of opposing political parties perceive different facts and take different policy views depending on which party lines up on which side. Presenting people with facts that challenge an identity- or group-defining opinion does not work; instead of changing their minds, they will often reject the facts and double down on their false beliefs. This is true regardless of educational and cognitive firepower; in fact, super-smart people use their big brains to perform somersaulting rationalizations. "Extreme partisanship may be literally addictive," writes the social psychologist Jonathan Haidt. Partisans who find ways to rationalize their beliefs get a little hit of dopamine. "Like rats that cannot stop pressing a button, partisans may be simply unable to stop believing weird things."

Republicans cannot hide what going on inside their heads. You crave something like WWE wrestling, an us-versus-them, good-versus-evil drama where you can stand on a chair and yell your guts out.

At this point, it probably goes without saying that the themes Trump ran and won on in 2016, and the themes he governs on, are short on philosophical coherence. But they have a deeper psychological coherence. Trump's appeals to ethnic and racial resentment, his portrayals of a country and culture under siege, and his populist demonization of multiple enemies offered Republicans something more appealing than any particular list of policies: They offered solidarity against a threat of Hillary, of Bernie, of Obama, of Mexicans, etc. On this reading, Trump may have secured his initial foothold by catering to the George Wallace portion of the party, but the remainder did not rally to Trump because they embraced his message; they embraced his message in order to rally to Trump. He offered a vivid us-versus-them story that energized one portion of the party, and then, once his followers redefined what "we" (the in-group) believe, the rest of the party preserved its identity by scrambling aboard. Although the result was to reverse Republican orthodoxy on everything from entitlement spending and trade protectionism to global alliances and the FBI, partisans felt no psychological inconsistency or lurch, because, as a result of their ideological somersaults, they continued to be aligned with the same in-group and opposed to the same out-group: those horrible, awful, evil Democrats like Hillary and Obama.

Conservatives Are Dumber, and Smarter, Than Liberals
Here's a more muddied red and blue picture of IQ.

Democrats are fond of declaring that those who vote Republican are on the shorter end of the bus. One line of argument goes that Grand Old Partiers are just not bright enough to figure out what's best for the nation, or even themselves. Another insinuates that they lack the faculties to deal with nuanced issues and therefore hold fast to absolutes: ALL fetuses are full people; ALL taxes go to gay crack-addicted single moms on welfare. Indeed, some studies have supported such a simple correlation between political views and intelligence, but new research soon to be published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences paints a more muddied—and interesting—red and blue picture of IQ.

Right there, one could say that Democrats themselves are committing the same sin that they accuse Republicans of ... believing in absolutes. Not only believing in absolutes, but demonstrating the same prejudice, lack of intellect, and hypocrisy as they claim Republicans do.

Quote:

Sociologist Markus Kemmelmeier compared college students' self-professed political views to their SAT and ACT scores (which are imperfect but useful measures of cognitive ability). First, he did find a general trend that social conservatives (those who wanted to ban abortion and gay marriage) weren't as gifted as students with a more progressive take on gender roles. But he found the exact opposite pattern with anti-regulation attitudes: The conservatives/libertarians (yay guns, boo taxes) appeared to be smarter than their commie compatriots.

Kemmelmeier found this crossover "particularly surprising" and emailed me, "It highlights (yet again) that ‘conservatism' is not necessarily a coherent construct, but that you have to distinguish at minimum social conservatism and economic conservatism (libertarianism). If you think about it, Jerry Falwell and Milton Freedman are worlds apart."

Kemmelmeier found another pattern in his data, one supporting the previously-suggested idea that holding unpopular political views demands more cognitive resources ("context theory"). Those with the strongest beliefs, either way-red or way-blue, are smarter than the wishy-washy centrists too confused to stake their own ground. (All of these findings only applied to verbal intelligence. Math skills had no correlation with conservatism.) "I expected to find in some ways more of the same-old, that primarily more liberal views are linked to higher ability levels," Kemmelmeier says. "But, boy, this would be very wrong—at least as a general conclusion."

For his next study, Kemmelmeier got away from surveying elitist college kids. He used intelligence data drawn from the National

Did I not tell you that I know hundreds of Trump lovers? Known them for decades. I know their flaws. They can't stop talking about their high moral rectitude, their honesty, their integrity, their magnificent intelligence, their strong work ethic. But whenever they are tested for those sterling qualities they keep claiming to have, they fail the quality assurance tests. The Democrats I know have a much lower failure rate. Just saying. I'm judging Republican and Democrats by my experience and I won't give a passing grade to human failures, no matter how much they plead for forgiveness and whine about how cruel life is to them.

Republicans cannot hide what going on inside their heads. You crave something like WWE wrestling, an us-versus-them, good-versus-evil drama where you can stand on a chair and yell your guts out.= SLOPPY

Did you post this with a straight face? because, seriously SLOPPY, you can't stop slagging Republicans long enough to notice that most Dems are just as bad. You're the biggest rah-rah-rah us-versus-them hypocrite here. - SIGNY

Did I not tell you that I know hundreds of Trump lovers? Known them for decades. I know their flaws. They can't stop talking about their high moral rectitude,

Sounds like you!

Sounds like you! Seriously, you have claimed over and over again how smart you are, how honest, how morally correct, how much better you are in every way ... everything you just posted applies TO YOU.

EVERY test? Have you been there EVERY time? You would have to be God to see them at EVERY ethical test. And since you claim to know, then you obviously think that you're god-like. ANOTHER one of your many flaws!

But then you go on to post all the time that that ALL Trump spporters, ALL Republicans are ALL bad. No such thing a "failure rate", you make a very black-and-white judgement about entire categories of people you've never met. Worse, when experience tell you differently you reject experience in favor of belief.

Judging by the Democrats HERE (and that includes you, SLOPPY) you're right up there with all of the dittoheads and assholes on the right. UNLIKE YOU, I don't then go on to tar every single person that I categorize as a "liberal" based on my experience WITH YOU (pl), like you do. I let each person's behavior tell me what kind of person they are, and there really are liberals who are morally consistent, honest and thoughtful ... UNLIKE YOU (pl).

And btw Hillary, Bill, and Obama failed with flying colors, just like GWB and "Pappy" Bush. They were all corrupt as hell, evil slimy people who lied about everything. If you were really concerned about moral qualities you would have rejected them a long time ago.

By their deeds you shall know them

Three veterans who served with Ambassador Bill Taylor, a key witness in the House impeachment inquiry who has come under attack by the President, defended him as a "man of honor," "public servant" and "role model". Trump called Taylor "human scum".

Bill Taylor, by his own testimony, has no firsthand knowledge of events. Every relevant thing he testified to was told to him by someone else. He wasn't in on the phone calls, he wasn't at the meetings, so how the hell would HE know?

SLOPPY, you are a Pharisee of the first order!

It just occurred to me that almost everyone here who claims to be a liberal has become a parody of what they claim to hate,

SLOPPY claims to hate self-righteousness
WISHY claims to hate racism, sexism and authoritarinism
REAVERBOT claims to hate authoritarianism
JO claims to hate irrationality and illogic
CC claims to be reasonable and honest

Hmmm... I'm detecting a pattern here!

Signy, Jack

Are you still posting back and forth with SLOPPY?

I admire your can-do! spirit. But SLOPPY (et al) isn't capable of changing in any way ... because, as many studies suggest, one doesn't simply troll, one IS a troll by nature.

So other than chatting back and forth with people who actually know how to reasonably discuss things, when it comes to SLOPPY (et al) on this website, I personally have better things to do, like stare at the ceiling.

Though, come to think of it, they make interesting real-life examples of how people can go so very mentally wrong.

“He was screaming, crying, and whimpering,” Trump said of Baghdadi. “And he was scared out of his mind.” It’s a line he repeated often, adding that the terrorist leader “died like a dog. He died like a coward.”

“I think it’s something that should be brought out so that his followers and all of these young kids that want to leave various countries, including the United States, they should see how he died,” the president said. “He didn’t die a hero. He died a coward.”

Trump didn't stop talking until he had completely emptied his bowels in front of the World. Read more, and see the video, at "Trump’s Baghdadi press conference shows how he ruins even his best moments"

I look forward to many more years of Trump dumping his guts on TV. It is extremely amusing. I would hate to see his term of office end.

What mental tick are you exercising with this post? ^^^

The insane never-Trumpers will be driven even more insane in the wash/rinse/spin/repeat/ cycle they mistake for reality.
