I haven't seen an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Drives in ages. I love that show. They find some of wackiest places in the US and in Canada. They've filmed at least one episode in Vancouver and back in either Montreal.

I don't remember that but I'm sure I heard about it.
I didn't even know it happened at the time, but I read about it in a magazine. They had a little 1-page blurb with graphics showing funny and/or stupid shit that has happened over the years in baseball from the early 1900's until now and that back and forth was one of the things they brought up in the article.
So I had to laugh when you mentioned it.

It's going to be more work than he thought it would be, and he needs to get some more materials, but we got this.
Stayed long enough to have dinner with them before he was off to another job, and by the time I got home I just wasn't feeling like going back to working on pavers for an hour and a half before the sun went down.
Got all my errands run early in the morning though, so at least a few things were accomplished. I'm kind of aching from shoveling into rocks and concrete yesterday and I think I'm a little sun sensitive after being out in it for 3 days. It was only like 63 degrees here today, but it felt a hell of a lot hotter when the sun was beating down on you.
Tomorrow is another day. I'm going to watch Episode 5 of Dark Matter tonight after I do a little research on materials for my friend's pool.

They were playing in LA. Not sure where game 4 is going to be played. Well, it seemed to give them the edge over the Mariners, maybe it will work playing the Dodgers when they get home.

I am a night owl. Over the years I have been up to 2 or 3am. But now it is around 1:30 and then there are the nights when I can't sleep and it is turn and turn and turn. Feel like a piece of bacon.

Today I went out and was basically just looking around. Managed to get a Christmas present and then I went to a post office and asked if I post something will it arrive. He said yes. So that is good to know. I should be able to get the few cards and what I send to Alberta in the mail.

Normally, I fall asleep in seconds. It's something I trained myself to do when I was young and ran into a major bout of depression and anxiety. I got to fed up with lying awake for hours I just learned to shut it off, most of the time anyway. Something dear daughter and hubby are jealous of.
But yeah, there are nights I feel uncomfortable, toss and turn trying to find a comfy position, and some nights I'm just wide- effing- awake. If I can't get to sleep in a reasonable time ... 20 minutes or so ... I think of some quiet chore that I dislike and get up and do it. It kind of discourages waking up or getting up. One way to ENCOURAGE waking up? Eating a snack! I found out by experience. It's so rewarding at a certain point my brain went "RING! Time to wake up and eat!". So I limit myself to a little coffee and milk which, strangely, helps me get back to sleep.

Yup, it was. The sports reporters talked to people in Toronto who actually watched the whooooole game. It apparently set a record because of its length. Both teams used every player in their dugouts which was 44 for each side, something like 19 pitchers.
The stats for the one game were incredible.

It is. The longest game was recorded in 1981 at 33 innings.
I don't know about in the arena but sports bars were happy. Think a lot stayed open for the duration.

You've mentioned a few things that made me wonder if your seizures were adequately controlled. Even things like a hand jerking could be symptomatic. Just let your neuro know. Keep him/her updated every time something happens, otherwise they don't know what's going on. One option is to add another med but if I were your neuro Id do a sleeping EEG (can be done at home) and get a CAT scan. Both are relatively cheap.

It has been a snowball effect around me for the last three days. Crashed into the coffee table on Sunday. Also dropped some broccoli on the floor as I was cutting it up for supper. Was dropping odd things on Monday and that went to after midnight. I put something on top of something else that I thought would be stable. Got back into bed and heard a crashing sound coming from the kitchen. Went back and had to pick up what fell because I would have walked on it this morning. Then something else sort of fell but I ignored it. Then applesauce on a shirt this morning but on an old shirt. Cleaned it up and finished taking my meds. Then I couldn't find what I wanted in my local grocery store so that means Walmart tomorrow.
Also had to look up the call letters for this radio station I like from Washington state. I am always losing it. That really gripes my cookies.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate buses. Because of buses don't arriving at their stop, I missed an appointment this morning.
Appointment was for 11:30, I got to the stop around 11:15. 2 buses there but they both pulled out. One should have stayed to pick the passengers that didn't get the first one. Then the next one didn't show up, then the one after that. When one finally showed up all I could do at the office was explain and rebook the appointment for tomorrow.
Also as you can see there was afternoon mah jong for me.

It was a good Saturday. This place for $5 gives you a lot of fries. So much that after my snack I had enough left over for supper. So I just reheated them with some chicken that I had already cooked. They are just delicious the fries I mean. Cooked just right for crispiness and soft in the middle.
I don't do that very often but after the crappy week I had had I figured I deserved a treat.
