With apologies to "Mickey Mouse Club March" by The Mickey Mouse Club (written by Jimmie Dodd, 1955)

----------------------------------------------

Who's the captain of the boat

In space that's wild west?

M-A-L R-E-Y-N-O-L-D-S!

He's good, he's bad, he's good

He's a complex man, you guessed!

M-A-L R-E-Y-N-O-L-D-S!

Mal Reynolds! (Kaylee Frye!)

Mal Reynolds! (Kaylee Frye!)

Together through the 'verse frontier they fly!

(Fly, fly, fly!)

It's not wrong to sing this song and praise the very best!

M-A-L R-E-Y-N-O-L-D-S!

Love this, & your other holiday lyrics.

But the original lyric to this music goes:
To the everlasting glory
of the infantry
shines the name, shines the name,
the name of Roger Young

Thanks YT.

Yes, I see the similarity, also in the first line:

"Who's the leader of the club
That's made for you and me?"

and

"No, they've got no time for glory in the Infantry."

Some of the rest of the Mickey Mouse Club March is a little different, though.
