... fully loaded, safety off...

Brilliant example of how a music score can make a scene:

and funny as hell (love the wookie).

Don't forget, for more soundtracks and scores and Firefly dialogue we're still flying:

There will be fire and brimstone and Earth will be destroyed!... in several billion years!----------------------------------------- "Well, so long Earth. Thanks for the air... and what-not." -Philip J. Fry

I'm all for good music.

Speaking of good music, have you heard of these guys? I just heard them today, and I think I like everything they sing, which I don't usually do that with anyone...
The young guy reminds me of Nathan, he DEFINATELY has Fillion Follicles Has a smaller face and bigger ears than Nathan, though. Were I unwed, I would bring that home

Firefly ever does rise from the ashes, can these guys be our soundtrack?

ANONYMOUSE

John was the composer who got me interested in movie soundtracks, i.e. instruments only; prior to that I only listened to songs. Now, though, I take pleasure purely in the music; my favourite Williams scores are A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone and the 1978 Superman - what a soaring score that was!

But AFAIK he is doing The Last Jedi and episode IX, so he and Star Wars aren't separated yet. OTOH he does have a worthy successor in Michael Giacchino; I love his score for Rogue One and I thought at first it was John's work, particularly the opening scenes.

For us music fans it's a win-win - either John will do 'em, or Michael will, and either way we'll get some great music!

America loves a winner!

That was nicely done. Or not done, as it were.

I remember just listening to the album soundtrack w/ headphones on. The old school 70's style, when I was about young Peter Quill's age. Unfortunately for Peter, it seems he was taken from Earth before Star Wars appeared ? Not up on the comic version, but that seems like the case. Oh well.

* Band of Heathens lead guy does resemble Nathan a bit. I also can see Andrew Garfield a bit too , with Nathan like hair. hee hee

I did not like Rogue One's score when I first saw it, but after watching it a few times I've come to appreciate how great it is.
